I recently bought a drive box mini and found the inside that it was a lollipop 6.0 instead of Mache mellow 6.0which they advertised on their website and also it was supposed to have A trial for an IP vanish which it didn't have, but apart from that the box itself is an excellent piece of kit and would recommend it to anyone .

Initially the T8 worked okay, however after a day it started to freeze on the home screen. This was corrected by restarting the box several times until it decided to work again. I contacted Droidbox support who were very helpful and suggested a few things to try. I did all that was suggested but still have the occasional problem.
As I was still within my 14 days since purchase I decided to cut my losses and return the box for a refund.

I first purchased a T8-S for myself over a year ago and have been very happy with it. I then got a T8 for my daughter who enjoys that box.
Now I am very impressed with the iMX QPro V2 which i got for my son who is new to the android box world.
He set up the box and dabbled but I showed him how to install stuff such as new version of Kodi and he is delighted withe how the box performs and the simplicity of use.
You won't be disappointed with this box if you are considering one and the droidbox service is very good.

I purchased this device to stream home video from my Synology Nas to my TV.
I found it impossible to connect to the NAS, even using the recommended NFS method.
The box was too flexible for my requirements and have ended up using a Fire Stick.
However the build quality of the device was very good and the customer service excellent.

I'm used to Windows and I do not understand very well Android.
So i'm quite unconfortable and clumsy when navigating through Internet.
Sometimes I cannot move the mouse pointer freely and I do not understand what the available Icons mean, some sort of User's guide would be very usefull.
The keyboard is too small and the use of many keys is a mistery to me, again a basic manual would help a lot.
Besides all this nagative aspects, the device is fast and powerfull.

Great little box with lots to offer. Mine updated Android within first 24 hours which affected my 'Wookie' version of Kodi.
Some of the software is quite difficult to set up, especially within Kodi, for a novice. The mouse pointer on the included remote seems a bit slow to respond, but the optional VIP Air Mouse is a lot better.
