To help the user, Droidbox could be either shipped both with Kodi setup and all setups and tweaks done to take advantage of the hard drive to to stop the effect of buffering. A complete range of pre-setup operating software could be offered on your download page where we the user could choose and reset to. I have had to reset twice this box to original state because I I have had difficulty trying to set the Kodi up. When I reset to original state, I still have to go into the folder with file explorer ES to reinstall the Media Centre, which again I had to dig around to find what to do. I have not been able to setup Wookie despite me having it on another T8-Plus box in another room. I really struggle when watching live TV or movies with buffering and sometimes (lots of times) it stops the viewing just at the wrong moment (ie, just about to score a goal). It therefore becomes very very frustrating to the viewer. Also sometimes i have watched a film perfectly all the way through, however, most of the time it does buffer. These are my genuine concerns and wished I lived closer to call in and speak with you first hand. Peter Todhunter

i purchased this for my younger brother hopefully come christmas day he will be happ.

Had I not had previous experience of using a droid box I would have found it difficult to set up and use.
It has been good so far for watching box sets and films, but it freezes when watching long films which is annoying as you do not get to see the end of the film. The picture quality has been good, but the audio poor so have to play it through my surround sound system. I have sampled live football and picture quality not so good.

Droidbox T8

the instructions I found were hard to understand unless you are tech savy and it took for me to watch a video on youtube to find out how to set the product up.

Delighted with model

Very pleased with the DroidBox, the reviews are 100% correct.

This is the second T8 mini I've purchased having used m8 boxes I fancied an upgrade after doing a bit of research decided to go for the droidbox T8 mini certainly glad I did because it's such a great bit of kit

Still can't understand why people are shy of buying an Android IPTV box. Droidbox have what I consider to be the best customer support which for me was really useful when I was new to the technology. So don't put it off buy a Droidbox and ditch subscription TV.

Great remote, the mouse feature works great, really responsive and I found the build quality great. The only issue I've had is you can't turn the box on using the remote... but maybe I've not configured it correctly

Alright. Does the job. Nicely built

I don't know what to say about this keyboard because my technical knowledge it on the very low level and I am not the person to give advises on the devices, but I would like to express my impression. When I took this devise for the wrist time I did't even know what I suppose to do with it, because it has so many buttons and a touch-pad so it is very complicated to operate, that what I thought when I saw it for the first time, but after my grand son explained me how to navigate I did manage to read news and watch some videos. And there is an internet installed. Good device.

Thanks lads you're getting better with each box.

The remote is very easy to set up and use! After charging the remote, I connect the USB dongle into my Droidbox and switch on the remote and it was ready to go. The buttons are responsive and light up which is great if in a dark room watching TV. The touchpad works perfectly and allowed me to navigate menus much faster than other remotes with navigation buttons. I can highly recommend the remote!

Love love love this product my droidbox T8 PS4 and other gadgets are obsolete now!!!

Worked seamlessly with my Android TV.
Able to switch between Mouse and Gamepad option is great. Can use in pkace of remote to navigate on tv as well. Supports games out of the box without need for extra apps. Not tried on PC yet.
Default blinks when switched on which I thought was pairing but it turned out that with a bit more longer key press pairing mode is faster flashing lights. Overall great value for money product. Happy with a years warranty stated in box!

Excellent piece of equipment with a good range of software. Relatively easy to set up if you visit Droidbox's videos, forum, and Youtube for advice, and seems like you are joining a friendly community. Not needed their customer service yet.

Works brillianty
