Shayna from Yoga Beyond The Studio has been a god send. For the past year I have had significant pain in my hip. Various doctors had said various things about the injury and given different recommendations for PT and rest. My teacher has been great at rolling with the punches of the various diagnosis and treatment plans. She really just wants me to get better and is using many different techniques to help.

Having a private yoga instructor like her has made a big difference. I could never tell when my body was out of alignment or if I was doing the pose correctly. She is patient and knowledgeable and is able to structure a class to what I need.

If you want a private trainer simply to learn yoga properly or because you need help with an injury, Shayna is the person for you.

Our teacher has the most amazing energy and spirit. My son absolutely loves working with her and looks forward to their sessions every week! She is great with kids and always has fun tricks up her sleeves. Through their work together my son has become more patient and the breathing we have done has helped with tantrums. Did I mention he is constantly doing down dog around our living room??

My partner and I have worked with Yoga Beyond The Studio's teacher for over a year! Her ability to adapt to two very different practices simultaneously is amazing. Even with two very different goals and body types, she creates an environment that allows us to feel comfortable and gives us the push we need to find new levels.?

Shayna's retreat was everything I expected and more. She created a comfortable and warm environment for all retreat attendees and was very attentive to everyone's needs. Her classes are welcoming to all yoga levels and she is always happy to incorporate any special requests into her class. Shayna is fun and understanding and she was there to help me take my practice a step further. Joining Shayna in Costa Rica allowed me to escape my everyday schedule and learn how to find happiness in the present moment, an ability I have been able to translate back into my city life. Most rejuvenating experience of my life!! Shayna is an ingenious yoga instructor who provided us with the most exhilarating yoga practices I've ever encountered! We did aqua yoga, partner yoga, yoga under the stars, sunset yoga, sun rise yoga, yoga on the beach, restorative yoga, and a variety of vinyasa flows! What a magical retreat with unforgettable memories!!

This was my first yoga retreat and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location, the food, the people, the yoga, and Shayna made the retreat incredibly special and memorable. Everything was planned and organized, and although not everything is kept to schedule, Shayna was accommodating and understanding and was able to tailor the activities to our needs and feelings at that time. Shayna made us feel relaxed and like we were in a safe and open space. The yoga is suitable for all levels, ranging from more heated practices to deep meditation. So many laughs were shared and friendships kindled during those 5 days. I definitely plan on going back next year!

As someone who is very comfortable traveling, but not comfortable walking into a gym and signing up for classes, I thought this yoga retreat could be my excuse to see Costa Rica and I'd just skirt by with the Yoga (and hopefully no one would notice my lack of skills). But I came out of this trip with a better understanding of yoga, my body, and my mind. Within days I had been to my first yoga class while back in London. I attribute this all to Shayna and her amazing approach to teaching! I felt so accepted and nurtured, and would sign up for Yoga Beyond The Studio's next trip in a heartbeat.

I worked with Yoga Beyond The Studio on a corporate event I organized, and the yoga class was absolutely perfect. The instructor had a very strong sense of people, and her teaching skills are absolutely strong. She was also very accommodating, and she adapted very well the level of the practice to the level of her students.
