I already had a couple of reso guitars when I came across this beauty. My interest was spurred by the ample room above the 12th fret for slide work. I took a trip directly to Eastwood's showroom and sampled a couple of them.



Of the three I tried, there honestly wasn't much to choose between them; I took the one which had a slightly HIGHER action (for slide).



There is a LOT more to this guitar than slide. The electronics are SUPERB, particularly the 'blend' control' for the biscuit bridge pickup and the conventional neck pickup. You can get some sounds that cross the spectrum from traditional to otherworldly with the right amplification (compression recommended).



Really nice build quality; really versatile guitar. I'm now saving space because of the two reso guitars I've sold since getting this one. This guitar is a reproduction of a '64 National model. I don't know if this one's better, but it sure is GOOD....

Really cool mandola. I couldn't find an electric mandola anywhere until I came to Eastwood. Sounds good, feels good, looks good, and playable out of the box after tuning.

The Bighorn is an awesome guitar. I am very (very) pleased with it.



This guitar has some real punch to it. The two pickups have great volume, really nice tone.



I find that the fit and finish on the Bighorn is a little better than the BobKat I ordered at the same time. It must be a different production line.



The frets on the Bighorn were dressed and finished properly which was a relief.



This guitar is a pleasure to play, the action was set perfectly from the factory, I didn't need to change a thing. It is good to know the intonation is adjustable.



The first Bighorn I received had a muffed-up fret board. The rosewood was a little knotty and there was a split and sliver that was not polished out and would have left slivers if anyone had actually played it. I'm not sure how this one ever left the factory with the QC issues on the fret board but it all worked out OK.



Eastwood sent a prompt replacement and the new replacement Bighorn was perfect.



The guitar plays well, sounds great, and was a raging bargain.



I highly recommend this guitar. You'll enjoy it very much.

The product in itself is amazing and super comfortable once broken in (it is gonna feel stiff the first few weeks).The shoulder pad is big and soft.



Plus, it looks amazing and, as musicians, we know the look is super important.



But the thing is that I ordered two; one was perfect but, on the second one, there were holes missing. Not big deal, all I needed was a Nail and a Hammer to fix it.

After this little problematic, the product is surprisingly good considering that it costs almost half the price of other brands!



I highly recommend buying one!

This is the exact "vintage" strap I've wanted for years...FARE better than the similar Fender set up and the colors cinch it!

Right as I opened the case and saw that shimmering black with the Bigsby I knew this was a great purchase. Took her out of the case, plugged her in and fell in love.



Great tonal range and a beautiful look/feel. Stock right out of the box I give it a 5.



Totally worth your money.

I've always liked the 60s vintage style spaghetti strap but haven't found any -- aside from Gretsch -- that (a) could handle the stress weight of a heavy solid body at the attachment points or (b) was comfortable enough to permit playing for 60 minutes at a time. The Airline strap is a dream come true. SOLID construction, well trimmed and finished inside and outside, classic spaghetti lines and really grips the strap nuts. The shoulder piece stays put during play, and yet moves easily if I need to make an adjustment for different playing styles/roles. I love it so much I bought a second in a different color for another of my vintage Les Paul solid bodies. Comfortable, well made, doesn't wear and looks terrific. You will not be sorry buying an Airline strap.

There are so many different combinations with the control of the 3 pickups both tone and volume (heavy metal to blues / rock) also neck is very fast and love the Bigsby Tremlo. and it screams play me. One Volume control was a great idea!



Just a cool guitar. and looks are tops.
