I like that Windows 7 doesn’t feel pretentious. It knows what work it needs to do and does it. I don’t use a touch screen so those features of later versions don’t carry any appeal with me. I was hesitant to move to Win 7 after using Vista successfully for so many years – but the move was worth it. Win 7 feels natural and has compatibility built in to run many programs that may not have been released to run on Win 7 – including some of the business software we’ve been reluctant to upgrade from.

Easy to use. Design is like previous Windows operating systems. Since I had experience in other Windows software it made this easy to use. Have always like the search bar being first thing offered when you hit the windows start button. Also like the shut down side button that allows you to choose other ways to close your computer (log off, snooze, etc).

I like the ease of navigation. This operating system is familiar enough for anyone with prior Windows experience, but the updated taskbar and the fact that it supports touch screen software are really great updates that keep the OS fresh.

I haven’t had a chance to put this on the computer yet, but, if it is as good, as I have heard, then it should be an excellent addition.
