After living in Canada for 18 months and returning once our visas expired my wife and I didn't think that we had enough points to move to Canada permanently. We were thrilled upon doing the free on-line assessment. AMI Education to see that we just had the minimum number of points. The guarantee of getting our money back if we were not successful in our application gave us reassurance that AMI Education were confident in us getting accepted, otherwise why would they have taken our application? It was a lengthy process; our application was submitted July 2019 and we finally got the go ahead in August 2021 but this was due to the high number of applicants and the COVID-19 pandemic and not a reflection on AMI Education. The team advised us how to word our previous jobs which was a worry as my wife and I had held lots of temporary jobs and they did a fantastic covering letter. We believe that they handling the application for us is the reason that our interview was waived, obviously the High Commission had all of the info that they needed and didn't feel the need to see us, which was great! If we ever had a question, and we had lots and lots, we would email it over and a response would normally come back same day. On one occasion we even had a telephone call from them to clarify some things. We are off on holiday to Ottawa in October and will land as permanent residents before moving over when our house has sold, hopefully early 2022. Thank you to AMI Education, we firmly believe that we would not have been where we are now without them.
