As the installation was not easy, an instruction leaflet with installation instructions or at least links to corresponding explanatory videos would be helpful in future.

Hi Niklas,
All of the Eshifters are brand new. You can see it from the serial number that has the manufacturing date.
There might be some scratches on it because all Eshfiters are assembled on an actual Vanmoof bike to make sure it is functioning.

I ordered a rear rack for my VanMoof S5.
It came just packaged in an paperboardenvelope.
Fortunately it just had litte scratches.
When I installed it the First time, I thought Ur Night be too small. Then, same days later, I tried it again and with slightly more power and bending it finally worked.
My advice: Please improve the packaging.

Nachdem es mehr als 3 Wochen gedauert hat, kam der Gepäckträger unversehrt bei mir an. Bei der Montage mussten 2 störende Schrauben in der Länge gekürzt werden, da sie sonst am Schutzblech geschliffen hätten. Zudem brauchte ich für die seitlichen Befestigungen Distanzscheiben, da der Lenker ansonsten blockiert worden wäre. Alles in allem aber ein schönes und zweckmäßiges Zubehör für mein S5.

Der 2cm Abstandshalter zur Erhöhung des Vanmoof-Lenkers - X3 ist einfach nur ein Stück Plastik-Schrott. Anders als auf dem Produktbild welches wohl das Original darstellt, ist hier aber auch nichts hochwertig! Das Ding besteht aus einem Stück abgesägten Plastik. Nicht einmal die scharfen Kanten wurden nachgearbeitet. Nicht zu gebrauchen. Auch wenn im Internet steht das sie keine Originale verkaufen, dann sollte doch bitte das Produkt zumindest dem Original nahekommen. das ist definitiv nicht so. 20€ für ein Stück abgeschnittenes billiges Plastik ist einfach zu viel. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen, zumindest nicht wenn man ein Ersatzteil braucht.

I had to tweak and bend the bars to the wheel axle in such a way the two screw/bolts on the upper side are also bent and under tension. This slightly disappointed me . Would like to have a tubular solution as the original VanMoof rear rack would be.
