I thoroughly enjoyed working with Inspira Advantage. I'll admit that I did not know that using an admissions counseling service was so popular when I first decided to pursue my MD. After attending fairs and doing some online research, it became clear to me that I only had one shot at this and I should be sure I'm putting the strongest application forward. I currently work in a university-affiliated lab, and hardly any of my colleagues have their MD. It was clear to me that I needed the advice and expertise of a seasoned counselor to help me make my application shine.
Beyond being professional, responsive, and pleasant to work with, the most valuable part about working with Inspira was that they encouraged me to broaden my target school list, and made me think critically about what was most important to me in an MD program. I was initially set on staying in my home state of California, and did not want to move. My counselor told me that I should seriously consider a few programs on the east coast, and recommended why I would be such a great fit given my strong interest in the culture and community of a school. She ended up being right in the end, and I am so glad I followed her advice as I will be attending a top ranked MD program.

Malhar is an excellent mentor. Initially, I was inclined to work with someone I met through reddit, but after doing more research and having an introduction call with Malhar, I felt that given his expertise with med school applicants combined with his deep understanding of the complex application process, I should hire Malhar.
A few months later, after many ups and downs and Malhar's immense support, I got accepted at four MD programs and I'm very happy about the decision I made.
Malhar has an incredible story telling talent, he helped me highlight my key experiences, skills, and personality traits. He motivated and supported me during the good and the difficult times in the process.

I had already used Inspira during my preparation for the MCAT, and while I had completed my med school applications without using any consulting service, I decided to purchase Inspira's Mock Interview Package.
The package included four mock interview sessions (an hour each). Inspira assigned an admission consultant who used to interview applicants on behalf of one of the very med school that invited me for an interview. First, I sent all relevant information about myself (AMCAS, personal statement, application essays, and any other specific demands), to which the consultant replied with very minute and specific replies and comments regarding how I should prepare the first mock interview. After the first mock interview, the consultant sent me a very detailed feedback with suggestions on how to improve and how to craft the answers in a more impactful way. The subsequent mock interviews went the same way as the first one, followed by a very minute feedback as well.
The sessions were very helpful. The consultant showed very clearly what was expected of me as well as which points I should emphasize the most. The sessions also made me a lot less stressed about the real interview, since the four hours of mock interview made me familiarized with the admission interview environment. Another positive aspect was that before, during and after the consulting period, I could ask any question by mail and a reply would soon land in my mailbox within 24 to at most 36 hours.
I wholeheartedly recommend Inspira's mock interview sessions to anyone who requires an optimal preparation for his or her med school admission interviews.

There are no cutting corners at Inspira. Jennifer's feedback was always critical, comprehensive, and quick. She has a lot of experience in this field, so she knew people on admission committees and what they wanted. Thus, she was able to help me understand what exactly to add to my application which helped me to get a seat at my dream school.

Took the 24 hour 1:1: MCAT tutoring program with Bretton at the beginning of this year and highly recommend! The tailored program offers ample opportunities to not only learn the core content necessary for the exam but also efficient test-taking strategies. Bretton was very helpful in pinpointing ways to reduce mistakes and see things I had not previously seen before, and he also created a customized study plan based on my previous practice tests and goals. My first practice test at the beginning of the course was a 497 and I managed to increase that score 516 with a first attempt on the actual MCAT. Highly recommend Bretton and Inspira Advantage!

Tomas is an amazing MCAT tutor with a lot of experience in teaching MCAT. He helped me a lot with improving my MCAT score by several points. Tomas is great at teaching how to think in an efficient way and identify strategies to really accelerate your progress in improving the MCAT score or achieve a dream score. Tomas is excellent in helping create a structure, study targets to be able to work independently and learn from mistakes to achieve your dream MCAT score.
Furthermore, Tomas is a very inspiring, patient and encouraging tutor. He teaches his students how to solve virtually any problem in a very efficient and interesting way, which would be extremely valuable for improving one's MCAT score. If you are ready to improve your MCAT score significantly, I would certainly recommend you to have sessions with Tomas.

Going with Inspira is one of the best decisions I made during the med school apps process. Coming from an overrepresented background, I didn't realize how stressful, immersive and time-consuming applying would be. Inspira helped me set a game plan and easily extracted what the strengths and weaknesses were in my profile. From there it was an exercise in speaking to my strengths while doing what I could to improve in other areas, notably, everything to do with quantitative materials.
Dillan was an amazing consultant: great listener, great mentor, and I knew he had my back throughout the whole process. Dillan & the Inspira team wanted me to succeed, so they certainly didn't sugarcoat it when they needed to give me tough love. But that was the best thing they could have done in order to manage my expectations and to show where exactly I needed to push harder.
Inspira goes the extra mile for you. Your success is their success so you know they are giving you premium advice and attention.
I was accepted to two med schools (Brown and UCSF), and I have Inspira to thank for that.

Rohan was absolutely fantastic. I got a full ride at my dream MD/PhD program because of him. He knows so much about the admissions process and is incredibly efficient. I come from a small private institution, and we don't have great pre-health advising. It was truly a pleasure to work with Rohan, and I can't recommend him highly enough!

Do you feel that you have all the right ingredients for a strong MD application but you are struggling to put it together in a recipe which will result in the dish of a lifetime? Well that was me when I started down the medical school application path. I knew my reasons for wanting to become a doctor. I had taken MCAT and had a slightly above average score and I had my recommenders lined up. But I was struggling to communicate my story crisply and effectively.
A very close friend of mine had gone down this route few years back and I talked to him for advice and he said he faced pretty much the same challenge and recommended seeking help from a professional. I investigated few med school admissions consultants and I got in touch with Rohan via Inspira Advantage. I was quite impressed with all the glorious recommendations that Rohan had online. In the first half an hour of working with him, Rohan asked insightful questions and I knew I had found the person who can help me pen my story.
Rohan can be very critical with his feedback when required and can also be very encouraging when required. While Rohan did have a defined framework that he worked in, he adapted that to make it work with my timeline. The experience Rohan has in this field also proved very useful to me and helped me approach the whole process more confidently. I strongly recommend Rohan for med school application counseling.

If you're considering working with a consultant for the med school application process, Derek is a stellar choice that you will not regret. I worked with Derek on an hourly basis and received admit to 3 MD and 2 DO programs.
At the start of the application process, I had completed my MCAT and was acquainting myself with the different requirements for each school. I was naive, thinking that I'd be able to tackle the process myself using a self-guided application platform. After speaking with current students and alumni, I found that most of the students used a consultant and began seeking one out for myself. During my intro call with Derek, I immediately noticed the difference between him and other consultants. Derek was honest and direct; he gave me candid feedback on where I currently stand while emphasizing the importance of each piece in the application package, without being a "salesperson" in any sense. Derek genuinely cares for his clients and wants to see them reach their highest potential. He pushes you to give it your all and in return, does the same for you. He will spend long hours in the night mulling over your application, not out of obligation but out of care for you and passion for his work.
I most valued Derek for his:
- Incredible writing: One of my original motives for working with a consultant was feedback on my personal statement and essays. While I received so much more throughout our time together, this was truly where Derek really stood out. Each document he receives would be returned with more feedback than you could imagine possible. He carefully considers line of content and ensures there is value added. He's a fantastic writer, so his comments are always very on point.
- Attention to detail: Nothing slips by Derek, and as such, he becomes extremely well acquainted with your profile and ensures you are leveraging everything that makes your application unique. Often Derek would suggest including in parts of my life that I had shared previously in passing that I even forgot myself. This also means that he is a powerful accountability partner. If you say you'll do something, you better believe he will check to make sure that you do!
- Actionable feedback: At the start of our work together, Derek shared actional feedback to strengthen my existing profile. Much of the research that I believe to have made a significant impact in my application spurred from his invaluable suggestions. He understands what type of experience (professionally or personally) will stand out in and guides you to enhance those areas. Setting these goals at the start of our work together allowed me to have results to share once it came to submission.
- Connections in the AdComs community: He often shares insider info from his vast network in the industry and brings these insights into your work together.
- Caring personality: No one around me had gone through this process so Derek's support made me feel not alone. He is kind and lovely, which makes working with him all the more pleasant. When he is strict, you can feel that it comes from a place of compassion. I am grateful to have made a lifelong friend in this process.
There are still so many reasons as to why Derek is a first-rate consultant, and I hope you have the opportunity to experience them for yourself.

I first connected with Inspira Advantage when I was still in the process of shortlisting med schools and writing the MCAT. Bryson, within a very short span of time, transformed into a genuine stakeholder to my success. His availability far surpassed anything that I had ever imagined: whether it was odd hours or last minute rectifications, he was always ready to help. Added to that was the fact that he knew the nuances of what the specific med schools look for and how to not only structure an amazing application, but also to keep me motivated during the process. I got into my an MD program, which I was very happy about. This wouldn't have been been possible without Bryson and Inspira Advantage!

I am thankful that Anil was assigned to me as an expert from Inspira. He is a great mentor to me during the whole application process. He helped me improve the application and suggested multiple ideas to improve my profile. Soon after introducing me to some of his contacts, I landed an internship that strengthened my profile. I give complete credit to Inspira for the three admits I received. Wouldn't have made it without them. Cheers!

Overall, Rahul was both professional and knowledgeable, making this stressful application process as smooth as possible. Rahul customizes his services to you and your needs, not just another template-type consulting process. He helped me transform from a strong candidate into a compelling one. Just as he told me when we first started, he was not just my consultant, but a guide, coach, career counselor, and cheerleader, and that held true. I couldn't have done this without him!

I didn't came from a traditional pre-med background (I did a post bacc) so when I decided to apply to med schools, many of them top tier, I knew I needed some guidance in the application process. I needed help with every aspect of the application process including deciding which schools to apply to, drafting application documents, choosing recommenders, prepping for interviews, etc. At first I was a little hesitant to go with a consultant given the cost, but it was truly worth the investment. Raj was excellent at going through my essays and providing insightful comments to improve specific sentences, as well as highlighting key areas that were unclear. We were able to go through applications for all 20 schools. Raj was also good at providing honest advice about my shortcomings and how to address them. In addition to helping me draft and reviewing my application documents, Raj answered any questions I had about the admissions process and discussed with me the best steps I should take to improve my chances. Overall, I felt that having an admissions consultant was an invaluable resource for me throughout the process.

Inspira Advantage truly stands out in the realm of med school application counseling. Their expertise, coupled with a genuine desire to see their clients succeed, sets them apart. Working with Nate was a pleasure; his insights and availability made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Nate is an absolute rock star. I'm so glad I decided to go with him, and I truly would not have been admitted to six medical schools without him. He was incredibly invested in my admissions process and was incredibly pointed and diligent in making sure I put together the best possible application. I never had to worry about delayed responses or missing deadlines since Nate was incredibly timely (oftentimes responding at 5 or 6 a.m. to exceed expectations). He always had a smile on his face and offered his unwavering support during each step of my application. Thank you Inspira Advantage, and thank you, Nate.

A friend recommended Inspira Advantage to me for the med school application process. I started my med school journey a little late, but Collin was able to tailor this process to my needs and timeline so I was still able to apply as soon as AMCAS opened. I started working with Collin officially around mid-April, which was the best decision I've made for my application process. I came in without even knowing what programs I wanted to apply to. Collin really took the time to explain all aspects of the application process and outline key strategies based on my situation. Rather than just look at me as a statistic, Collin took the effort to know me as a person and kept me in check during the whole process to ensure we are able to meet my application deadlines.
Collin was very forthright about the whole process and my prospects. I was an Asian male applying to primarily with mid-500s MCAT score. Especially with the timeline of the applications and my progress at the time, I was not expecting great results. Despite these short-comings, Collin never shot me down or made me feel like I shouldn't apply to any of the top programs. In fact, he supported every decision I made but clearly outlined my strengths and weaknesses from an objective perspective. He devised a clear strategic plan and flowchart for me to put my best foot forward. On top of that, Collin's personality makes it really easy to open up to him, and therefore working with him during the application process felt like working with a friend. What really impressed me was how he was able to help me clarify my own personal and professional goals through our conversations. During this process, I was able to really figure out why I wanted to get an MD and why I wanted to be a doctor. For me, I think this is the most valuable takeaway.
I was accepted to five MD programs. I even received sizable scholarships. I can't thank Collin enough for his support and guidance during this process. I highly recommend Collin to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and personable med school admissions consultant.

When I started my process, I was unsure on if I even wanted to apply, let alone where I should apply or why I wanted to be a doctor. Sidney helped me tremendously through providing admissions committee insights, focusing my professional goals, and curating a cohesive personal story. She was also incredibly flexible with my unpredictable school schedule and was able to tailor a structured deliverable timeline around what worked for me. The process can be incredibly daunting and stressful and having a cheerleader and guiding hand like Sidney in your corner is so important! She played a pivotal role in my acceptance to multiple schools, and I am very grateful. Thank you, Sidney!
Inspira overall is a helpful network, especially if you are applying to several schools or are unsure of how many/which programs you intend to apply to. They have a review process and network that leverages individuals' specific knowledge on programs, even if your counselor may not be an expert for the specific school.

After months of revision, I found myself plateauing. However much more revision I did, and time I spent, I just could not break past 512 on the MCAT. Until a great tutor came to my rescue! Abhishek got me to completely rethink how I was revising; and (more importantly) how I was approaching the MCAT. Rather than accumulating knowledge, the vast majority of time was spent on strategies to tackle the exam: how to manage time, how to guess effectively, how to spot the easy answer route etc. The results paid off, and within 8 weeks, I finally got to my target score of 516. Thank you Abhishek.
