When I started Juris I knew nothing about the LSAT. I was very surprised to see I score a 139 on the diagnostic test. I wasn't confident at all and felt embarrassed that my classmates knew so much more than I did. My tutor was aswome. He took his time and explain things clearly. By the midpoint test I had already score a 156. What surpised me most was the logic games. I went from getting every single question wrong to getting 22-24 question correct. I used all of the online resources and study at home 2-4 hours a day . For the final test I was able to score a 170 only short 2 points of my goal. But let's keep in mind I started this program knowing absolutely nothing so I am grateful of the knowledge I've gain. Juris has made me so confident and I can honestly say I am prepare to take the LSAT. Without Juris I would not be where I am today. Thank you!!

After being wait-listed and finally rejected from University of Virginia School of Law after I applied on my own, I signed up with Juris and re-applied the following year. My law school coach performed an extensive background evaluation to brainstorm about potential essay topics and came up with a gem, one that was right in front of me but that I had never considered. Moreover, she helped me structure my essay and tailor it to admissions readers, helping me keep it concise, poignant, and completely devoid of pithy (and pervasive) closers like, "And this is why I want to attend this particular Law School."
I can't tell you how many law-school-essay-writing websites drone on and on about things applicants must, and mustn't, include in their personal statements. She debunked every one of the typical "dos and don'ts" and sliced through the twaddle. She also helped rework what I considered to be a good resume; she clearly made it better. I didn't make the rules of the sickeningly crazy get-into-law-school-game, but she's a great coach in playing it effectively. Results do not lie. I've recommended her to numerous friends and colleagues and would steer any serious applicant her way.

I've been surprised by the approach and strategies Juris tutoring can provide for the students for LSAT test. I found it extremely helpful even though the process of understanding how it all works takes time. I have added more hours to my package already, and I am very happy to see their approach and method my tutor provides.
It's not easy. It's even harder for me than to anybody else because English is my second language I've learned during my lifetime. If anybody comes to LSAT prep class and expects to get it easy done- it's not the place he/she should take. It's a huge work not only for student, but it's change of mind set of the student which is necessary and essential part for LSAT AND for law school further.
I am very happy I have chosen Juris and started my new life and path starting with Juris LSAT prep tutoring which opened me new doors with lots of work, games, strategies, and logical reasoning to work with and to understand which are first spent into my future Law school and Law career world.

I first met with the Juris team at a prospective JD students conference in Washington DC about 6 weeks out from my first application deadline, and I'm so glad that I did. I stopped by and told them about my specific questions/concerns (particularly about being a non-traditional applicant and working for a small/lesser-known law firm), and they answered my questions specifically and tactically in a way that instilled confidence in a potential professional relationship between us. Over the next several months, we worked together, which worked out phenomenally well because the two of us had identified specific areas so that I could use my time wisely. I could go on about how helpful my counselor was, but I think the most helpful areas/exercises related to crafting my story for business school in a compelling and succinct way. I had about a million ideas of how I could speak to my interests and experience, and she provided honest, constructive, digestible, and actionable feedback about which ideas were strong, and which I should cast aside. That front-end diligence helped me to build a strong foundation from which the rest of my application materials launched, and I ended up getting into 4 of the 5 schools I applied to (all but Harvard, which was a longshot from the get-go. If you're dead set on law school and telling your story is one of your biggest concerns, I would definitely recommend calling up the Juris team. I couldn't be happier with the results!

My tutor is literally the best. After each session I can see an improvement. Studying for the LSAT has been nerve racking but my tutor has been able to calm my fears and give me the confidence I need. She know all the tools and tricks and is super helpful. If you want a good LSAT score than Juris is what you need!

Deciding to take the LSAT and apply to law school was a huge step for me. I was working in a corporate job and am still paying off loans from my undergraduate degree. I had spent two months independently studying for the LSAT but I hit a rut. I didn't really know how to study for the LSAT, and I didn't know the reasoning behind much of what I was doing even if I was getting questions right. All I knew to do was take a bunch of practice tests and review my answers. I now know this is not an effective method of studying. I bought a few practice books but none of them were very helpful. One was so dull and so low level I never even read the second chapter. I liked the Juris program so I signed myself up for 60 hour program.
I took my first diagnostic test and scored a 159. I talked to my teacher, Jessica, and told her I my goal was to make a 167 or 168 to get into my dream school. She told me she believed in me from day one. She told me to shoot for a 170 to give myself a safety net if I missed it by a few points. I studied like crazy. After ever class and over emails in-between Jessica would help customize my studying. Between Jessica's recommendations and the customized study plan on Juris' website (which I loved) I immediately began to see results. I quickly was scoring in the mid 160s. I hit another road bump at 164. I consistently was scoring it again and again. From my experience, I believe the jump from the mid 160s to the high 160s is one of the hardest to do. It takes you from a good to advanced level. Jessica kept me positive. I was always looking forward to class and was actually sad when it was over. We had a really good dynamic between the students. Jessica often used Socratic method.
Everyone was encouraging and would share advice and tips before and after class. I struggled the most with Reading Comprehension. This was definitely the hardest section for me to see improvement in. I have always been a little bit of a slower reader. I had great scores in Logical Reasoning and Logic Games but knew I would have to take a hit in Reading Comprehension.
My final test, I scored a 164. Jessica and I developed, a week before the test may I add, a new plan to tackling the timing methods of Reading Comprehension. I don't want to go into details of it because it's unique to my weakness but with one week left I began to try it. Through Juris, I completed over 2,000 LSAT questions in December and January.
By the last few classes, I feel like I could talk to Jessica about any question on any test, like "how crazy was that one Logic Game on the Dec 16 Test?" Many people would have thought it was stupid for me to quit my job to study for the LSAT. Jessica was one of the few people in my life who was always encouraging and supportive of my plan. I opened up to her a lot about my decision to go to law school. A little over one month from my first diagnostic test I took my LSAT on January 26th. I felt pretty good about the test leaving it. I understood what each question meant, I was able to identify which questions were trying to trick me, and I knew where I had done well and where I had some guesses. Today I got my LSAT score.
The past three weeks I have just been praying for a 167. A few times I had hit the high 160s but it seemed honestly unlikely. I stared at the email from LSAC for what seemed liked eternity before opening it. With around a month and half of in-person classes, online resources, and live channel episodes, I scored a 172. I thought I read the score wrong at first. My score improved 13 points that quickly, and it wouldn't have happened without Jessica and Juris. I am now confidently submitting my law school applications and can't wait to see where life takes me next!

My counselor helped instill confidence in me for my applications and was vital in my navigation of the application process. She was instrumental in my acceptance into Columbia, along with my scholarship offers to Duke and Texas. I recommend Juris to everyone who asks me what helped me the most in applying to law school.

Juris Team - I decided to pull the trigger and commit to Harvard Law School. I am incredibly happy about my choice and can't wait to begin my law school journey this fall. Thank you so much for all your incredible help and insight throughout the zany admissions process. Your guidance was invaluable, and I will be forever grateful to you. You not only helped me achieve a level of success I couldn't imagine was possible, but also through your indefatigable editing and note-giving, elevated my writing ability to new heights. Both are gifts that will benefit me throughout my life. And through it all, your calm demeanor helped keep my anxiety at bay. I am so appreciative of your services.

I really enjoyed working with Juris, and I'm so glad I did! My coach had great advice, she made sure my essays weren't terrible, and I got to wrap up my PS in a better way than I could have on my own. I think I lucked out big time with the full rider; saying yes to that was a pretty easy choice to make. Thank you so much Juris for all your help throughout this process. I'm so proud of the outcomes you helped me achieve.

Juris LSAT test prep was one of the best, if not the best, value I've ever received. I signed up for the 1:1 tutoring program and also received access to all of their LSAT study/practice materials. I would be totally lost if not for what Juris provided me. I went from being clueless about the LSAT to highly confident. My tutor is excellent! Everything is easy to find and use. The price I paid seems like nothing now. I can't say enough good things about my Juris LSAT experience.

I feel that the best part of using Juris' services to prep for the LSAT was feeling as though I got my money's worth. I purchased the LSAT 1:1 tutoring program. This option allows you access to the Juris' videos, mastery tests, timing practice tests, and past LSAT exams, while attending a 1:1 live session with an instructor. These resources proved to be invaluable in my prepping for the LSAT. My instructor excelled not only in explaining how to attack the content each section of the exam, but also in explaining how to prepare for the timed constraints of the exam. At first, I was unsure how to use/access the LSAT resoruces, but once I used this tool I really enjoyed it: It's like having the ability to access a teacher even when you're not in class. This is because the recorded videos are really in depth... they also have sessions that are actively recorded and you can join those and ask questions, but I never personally used this option... I found the recorded videos sufficient enough. The Juris method is truly a powerful one, and I highly recommend their product.

I could not have asked for a better consultant and a smoother application process, all thanks to Juris! I applied this year and got into Harvard, Cornell and Georgetown. I started working with Juris two years ago but had to defer my plans for a year due to my boyfriend's relocation. My team at Juris was super understanding and supportive! The things I like most about Juris:
1) 100% focused on you - even before we started writing essays, me and my counselor spent hours talking to me about my background and childhood story. After these conversations, I realized there were so many things I had forgotten or thought was unimportant, which ended up being instrumental for my essays later on. I also came into the process not sure what my post-law school plans should be. My counselor went above and beyond to connect me with his previous clients in different law firms. Thanks to these conversations, I was able to talk confidently and genuinely about my post-MBA plans.
2) Expert feedback - writing personal essays has always been my weakest point, and he really worked hard to make sure that my narrative was the strongest, pushing me to think beyond my limits. We had over 5 to 10 iterations for every essay that I wrote, and the end product was so much better than I could ever come up with by myself!
3) Extremely knowledgeable about Law school programs - in the beginning, I used to feel overwhelmed with all the application info available online. With his years of experience in the field, he always cut to the chase and gave me honest feedback. This was extremely helpful when interviews rolled around since I was prepared to talk about the strengths of each school. Also, he had several mock interviews with me, some tailored to each school's style of interviewing, which helped me feel soo much more confident going into each interview!
4) Super organized and responsive - every time I sent a draft over to him, he had his feedback ready in one day or less, and it was pretty extensive feedback, too. I never doubted that I wouldn't be able to reach him in times of need, even during peak periods. Leading up to the deadline, he started having weekly 1:1 sessions with me to make sure that I was making good progress on my drafts, which really helped me not procrastinate and have the easiest and smoothest application process I could ever hope for.
Looking back on my experience with Juris, I realize that it was so much more than just a consulting service - they bring a humane side to their job that allowed me to be introspective and figure out what exactly I want to do with my life after law school. I highly recommend anyone who knows they want to do a JD in the future to reach out to Juris Education, which made it so easy for me to prep for applications on top of my full-time job.

Courtenay is by far the best tutor I have had. She set up her sessions by determining my needs and asking how I would best like to study. This was the best method for me as everyday I felt like I wanted to focus on something else. I'm still waiting to see how I scored on my LSAT but with her help I am sure I did great!
