This thicker tog definitely helped our little one sleep through the cold nights without disruption, that is after we worked out that the neckline was too high and would cut into her throat so we can't zip it the whole way up as it's too much pressure and wakes her up. If the neckline was adjusted to factor in the fabric being pulled up once hands are inside so there was no pressure on their little necks that would be perfect.
