I thought this product will be good for my baby after I noticed her trying to get her arms up and out of her other swaddles. She absolutely loves this one! She sleeps a lot longer, and I also noticed her self soothing by using her hands. Also when she was getting fussy and we put her into her swaddle for her bedtime routine, she starts to calm down and feels very snug.

My daughter was born prematurely and has a strong startle reflex and she sleeps great in this swaddle! Plus she's long and this swaddle can accommodate her unlike other swaddles that assume babies are shorter.

Before we purchased this swaddle, I worried about my son sleeping in a blanket swaddle. We started using the Swaddle Up Original to give me peace of mind but my son loves it as much as I do! We absolutely love the arms ups option this swaddle provides! From day one our little one hated his arms swaddled but wouldn't sleep without closeness. We tried the Swaddle UP Summer Lite option beginning at/around 6 weeks and haven't turned back. Lane even uses it for naps! The Summer Lite option is nice because our little one is quite sweaty. With this swaddle his body temperature remains comfortable and he wakes without a sweaty back.

So we haven't quite got to learning tomsleep without a swaddle, but as fast as our son is growing I figured it was best to get the 50/50 ahead of time to be ready! Overall I prefer these to several other designs I've seen and purchased- and who can argue with a zipper!
