Need a dealer closer than 100 miles away from Burnet, TX or better technical support and parts on line, there are 4 LS tractors near me relying on an independent mechanic for any support since we lost our local dealer

Not happy about the $1000 repair needed to replace the steering ram after only 4 years of light use (110hrs). Other than that it has been a good experience.

Poorly constructed, and temperamental about the pollution system went into limp mode and nothing I can do to resuscitate it. So now I have a limpy tractor that’s basically only good as a glorified wheelbarrow.

The dealer that I bought the tractor from closed up shop. Now I need to drive to Seguin Texas to get Maintenance Parts. 2.5hrs away. I wish that there was a website, or something similar to get said Maintenance Parts, Oils, Repair Parts. Otherwise the tractor has been doing fine. Have almost 300hrs on it. Wish I had gone a little bigger though. Too far to drive now for any shopping.

The overall performance and value is 5 stars. The seat is by far the worst.
I purchased the tractor in AZ and sent it to my WI farm. The seat broke in the first week. I was told to bring it back to dealer who will weld it. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! If it is a known problem then correct the hardware not cobble up a fix. Other than that we are extremely happy with the LS Tractor and its performance.

Had an issue with the hydrostatic case breaking, it was a known issue and a new case and backhoe got installed. Tractor isn't right after that.

Distractor has had problem after problem with electronic components and sensors. I will never own another LS tractor as long as I live and I am actually going to be trading mine in for a Kubota

Tractor only has 184 hours. Worn out tie rod, multiple hydraulic leaks and steer wheel tilt doesn’t latch. Just flops around. Warranty wouldn’t fix anything.

We have had a few issues with our tractor that does not have 300 hours on it yet. Leaking seal on the front axle, turbo had to be replaced and recently a hydraulic valve went bad. Seems like a lot of issues with a tractor with such few hours. This was supposed to be my last tractor purchase. Now I’m not sure this tractor will last as I expected.

"I cannot recommend buying an LS Tractor. I've experienced several problems with mine, and the aftermarket support is practically non-existent. My local dealer shut down a few years ago, leaving me with no options for warranty work. I am fortunate enough to be able to fix the equipment myself, but finding replacement parts and a legitimate service manual is a massive struggle. If I couldn't do the repairs on my own, I would be entirely out of luck. I actually talked two friends out of buying LS tractors recently because I knew they wouldn't be able to repair them when things inevitably went wrong. They listened to my advice and ended up going with a Bobcat and a Kubota instead. Buyer beware."

Overall, I am extremely pleased with my MT3-55E/HST tractor. I did not give a 5 star rating for the following reason: I keep my tractor in an enclosed outbuilding between uses. On an occasion 2 years ago I left it outside overnight and it rained some. The next day when I attempted to start it, it would not start and run, and threw a couple of codes on the instrument panel. Repeated attempts to start it were unsuccessful. It would try to start and the engine would knock horribly. After a day or two of no rain, I again attempted to start the tractor and it started and ran properly. I believe the throttle assembly has some electrical components incorporated in its design and it is not sealed against the weather properly. I started covering the hood and instrument panel area with plastic sheeting when rain was falling and the tractor had to stay outside overnight, and I have not had any problems since.
