Just received the Hoodie and the Sol Hoodie, they material is very soft as expected, already ordered another Sol hoodie in the Camu color, and a base layer lavender shirt, can't wait to get those, very nice quality, I was prompted to order the hoodie because of the reviews and the not disappointed, I wish Paka would state like they did on their Labor Day sale, if you order a hoodie get a free pair of sock, make sure you add the socks to the order and you will get them, right, helps a lot of they tell you that, so I missed out on 2 pairs of socks, glad I did order some though cuz they are amazing as well.

I have used a lot of different blends over the years to combat cold wet weather. Merino has been my goto as well as some hybrid synthetics....I tried Alpaca socks as was impressed... ALpaca boxers and T shirt was really impressive. I would venture to say Alpaca is better than Merino and it is definitely softer and more comfortable. Smartwool, Finisterre and the like work but I am in love with Paka now. I got completely soaked on a hike and was never cold. I just wish there were more options but maybe there will be in time. I love making my coffee in the mornings along the river in Topo Designs fleece but this may have to change lol. lightweight long underwear like stio would be good, fleece pants with good nylon seat and knees would be good for camp and pull overs so I can ditch my wool blends. swimsuits too appearantly there is a movement to wool for that too.
