Copper Pyramid Post Cap w/ 3/4" Lip
High quality copper caps that fit my 6 x 6 post perfectly. In the past I've used the caps from the home centers and these are so much better looking. My neighbor will be purchasing some soon after he saw mine. Thank you...

4x4 Original Miterless Wood Post Cap™
We did a lot of research and all the post caps sold at retail home improvements stores were mitered pieces of wood that got ho-hum reviews. Most of which complained about the caps warping and coming apart within weeks of purchase. These caps are solid pieces of wood selling at a comparable price (which is a big deal when you are buying 18+ caps). Would definitely buy again.
The only negative thing is our fence was made with treated pine, so the color is not exact. These caps have a definite reddish color. But if you are painting/staining or don't mind the contrast (Which we actually like) then we highly recommend.

I like the clean lines of this one piece cedar cap. Small indentation on bottom allows it fit securely on post. Quality made. Shipped quickly and securely packed.

Well made and a perfect fit for 5”x5” (nominal) posts. Time will tell how well these mahogany caps weather and resist splitting...

We ordered 8 post caps and one was cracked. Service for replacement was quick and easy. Now the fence looks great and I’d definitely order from here again.

Pyramid Miterless Wood Post Cap™
My recent review of five stars stated how beautiful and high-quality these miterless caps are. I also stated, if they are painted or stained they will last a long long time. I was about to stain mine when I realized this mahogany wood is too beautiful to hide, so I only put a finish on them and I'm very happy with how they turned out. They are gorgeous.
Now the part I don't like. These are advertised as a pyramid. To me, a pyramid has a point on the top. These have about a 4 by 4 inch flat surface on the top where water settles. This means putting a finish on more often to keep them protected. I still wouldn't hesitate to buy them again but just be aware these are not a pyramid and will require extra maintenance because of the horizontal surface on the top.

Pyramid Miterless Wood Post Cap™
Very impressed. Unlike most caps that glue or staple multiple mitered pieces together that will eventually fall apart, these caps are a solid, heavy piece of wood. If you stain or paint these caps, I see no reason they won't last for a long, long time. I'm also very happy with Post Cap Depot's service. They shipped out immediately and they were packed very well. Thank you Post Cap Depot.
