I bought two of these 6”x6” caps for railing posts on my front porch. The caps are very well made. They are well proportioned and feel solid, substantial, and made to last. The project carpenter was favorably impressed. They were fully finished, needing no additional sanding to make them ready for paint. The mahogany that they were made from was so beautiful, it was a shame to paint them - but I did and they took the paint well and look great. A good product at a good price that provides a finish to my project that matches the quality and character of the original woodwork of my 1925 Colonial Revival home.
