For the price the tech spec and features this one's a winner.

I've been using this in my home office mainly to take the chill off without putting the heating on for the whole house. It is smaller than I expected and sits neatly beside my desk without taking up much room. Warm air starts coming through quickly and the high setting has enough output to easily heat my office. I wasn't expecting the oscillation to make much difference but it does. Instead of getting a constant blast of hot air on one leg while I work it spreads the warmth around a much wider area. There is also a lower heat setting fan only mode and an Eco mode where you set the temperature and let the heater manage itself. The controls on the top are easy to use and the remote is useful when I am sitting at my desk. The timer is another feature I can see myself using. It isn't silent but the fan noise is low enough that it hasn't bothered me while working. I also tested the tip over cut out and it switched the heater off as expected. For a home office bedroom or smaller room where you want quick local heat this is a very handy little heater.

Definitely small but powerful! I was surprised at how quickly this heater pushes out heat. It does also have a fan setting which if you turn the temp down pushes out cool air. It's a small little unit perfect for desks or bedside tables. It has multiple settings and the heat can be adjusted easily either on the controller or on top of the unit. The heater actually looks very sleek and not too bulky like older space heaters. For £40 I think this is a great quality heater for small spaces and would be great if you have a home office in the garage or shed. It has a failsafe button on the bottom so if it gets knocked it turns off straight away. You can also set the timer so that it turns off when you want it to. For the price I think this is a very good value heater and would definitely get a second over the winter if this proved a cheap fast way to heat up a room.

It heats up quickly and then blows the warm air into the room. I was particularly impressed by how quickly it heated my modest 18m bedroom which I'm currently using as a home office. The 60-degree oscillation is another useful feature helping spread the warm air around rather than having it directed at one particular spot. The heater is also reasonably quiet which is important when I'm working. There's even a timer function too! Build quality is good too. It's constructed from hard-wearing plastic and feels like a solid little unit rather than something flimsy. It's not winter yet but this seems like a useful little heater for taking the chill off a room. It gives out warm air quite quickly and the oscillating movement helps spread the heat around rather than keeping it in one spot. I like having the remote control especially when the heater is across the room. There are two heat settings and a fan setting and the touch controls are fairly straightforward. You can hear the fan when it's running so I wouldn't call it completely silent but the noise isn't particularly bothersome. It's quite compact and doesn't take up much floor space. The thermostat and timer are useful and the tip-over and overheat protection are reassuring too. I haven't had to rely on it during really cold weather yet but it seems like it should be useful when the temperature drops. It's £40 at the time of reviewing which seems reasonable for a compact heater with the remote and extra controls. A good little heater to have around.

I got the 1500W compact fan heater. This model is very small and compact. It is designed to sit on the desktop or under office desk to warm your feet. This works well in my apartment because I have a small 1 bed. Takes up very little space and can be placed almost anywhere. It has the basic controls keeping it very simple and easy to use. Can be controlled with a remote or from the touch button on the top of the unit. The modes are simply high power low power fan mode and eco mode. The eco mode is the one we use mainly while we sleep. Eco mode allows you to set the desired temperature. The heater heats the room until it reaches that temperature and it switches the heat mode off and runs fan on low setting. When the temperature drops below the set temperature the heater kicks in. The heater is very quiet. Very low fan noise. The sound of button pressing is loud and annoying. The light from the display is also a little annoying it is pretty bright in a dark room. The remote is not my favourite it works and is very responsive but it's the cheap very basic model. The heater is very well built. The heater gets very hot which is why they placed a handle at the back. The heater runs the fan for 60 seconds when you turn it off just to cool it down. It also has a tilt safety feature. It turns of automatically when the fan is lifted or tilted.

After only about 10 seconds, it starts to spread warm air and it is actually so warm that you don't get cold even in the bathroom. Tip: If you set it up elevated, you can achieve optimal heat distribution. I find the operation outstanding because you can adjust everything flexibly. I've already tested other fan heaters in the past and find this particularly easy to adjust here. I really like that it has a remote control, which is particularly pleasant when you use it in the bedroom. For me, this fan heater is a very good extension of normal heating. For example, you use it to preheat the bedroom before going to bed; 10 minutes is quite enough if the room is not too big. I also find it great for the bathroom. If you freeze slightly, you can use it to generate heat immediately. In a small bathroom, it is enough to turn it on when you enter the bathroom. It saves me a lot on heating costs. I have two points of criticism: On the one hand, the fan heater smells strongly of chemicals when unpacked. I also know this from other electronic devices. They almost always smell when they're new. Unfortunately, the smell is particularly strong here. You first have to let it run for a while to reduce the smell.
