I have been using the dehumidifier since I bought it and it has done exactly what I needed it to do for a fantastic price.

The first unit failed in that it switched itself to dehumidify and ended up dumping water all over the oak flooring. It then kept switching itself on and on one occasion would not switch off. After reporting the failure it took too long to get a replacement sent but once agreed the replacement came quickly. This one has worked so far and during the recent hotr spell was a godsend.

Good delivered on time...

The heater itself is good, it outputs a decent amount of heat, warms up a room quickly and, being oil filled, stays warm for a long time. The problem came with using the Eco mode. The thermostat measured completely the wrong temperature. Setting an eco temperature of 13 degrees C, the room reached over 22 C before switching off. This is ridiculously inaccurate. The return was a nightmare. Although it was fulfilled by amazon, and delivered to the door, amazon refused to collect, even though it was faulty. The maximum postage they will refund is £4.75 despite the product being defective - the heater weighs 18kg, so it's not cheap to return if they won't send a courier to collect. After ringing amazon after 30 minutes of discussion, they agreed to pay full postage. It cost £13 to send back to amazon, and they only refunded the £4.75 (I scanned in and sent all the receipts they requested). So, buying a defective heater cost us around £8. Whilst this isn't the fault of the seller, bear in mind that should you get a defective one of these (and I've seen the thermostat issue reported elsewhere), returning it will cost you and really isn't worth the risk in my opinion.

The first one I received was extremely noisy. I was sent a replacement straight away and its very satisfactory. As I live near Drax Power Station the air is always very dusty and this small machine now copes extremely well filtering the air.

Absolutely amazing machine, could not believe how efficient it is, and not noisy either. Have no difficulty in sleeping through the machine switched on. Could not ask for anything better!

First impressions very good, looks nice and solid. Only issue I have is when trying to pull handle up to move, it has a tendency to trap and hurt your finger nails.

Great product and service

This product is brilliant it blows out ice cold air and in my apartment where I live in my lounge I have 2 large romeo & Juliet windows 80" across and 80 in length. I get the sun from sun rise to 5ish and it gets extremely hot. I have brought various fans but to no avail. A friend suggested an air conditioner. I know nothing about air conditioners so just in the end hoped i had picked the right one having also got their fan. I am having a problem with the unit showing FL which means water needs emptying but no water comes out. I have made the company aware of this and am awaiting their reply. This is just a small blip and would recommend anyone to get this unit

Bought this to use in a fitted wardrobe that gets quite damp it seems to be working really well my only gripe is that it takes a long time to recharge still I prefer that to using disposable versions.

Need to practise some more with different foods, timings etc, but so far so good. Great machine at great price. Much better than my old tefal

Does exactly what I require to keep me cool and working comfortably on very hot days.
It is noisy, but I don't believe there's a quite portable air con unit available on the market yet.

Loved this unit it kept a big room cool for us during the terrible heat here. Quite noisy so couldn�t sleep with it.

This is a very portable and quiet unit, light enough to easily move from room to room and efficiently removes moisture from the air reducing the relative humidity.

I bought this small dehumidifier to use in a small-scale honey concentrator, where the aim was to reduce the water content in harvested honey by 1% or 2%. It worked well for this (perhaps not intended by the manufacturer) purpose, being effective in keep the air dry in a small closed-loop system, operating very quietly and consuming little power. So ideal for my use. Those looking to remove damp from whole rooms might be disappointed - you need to bear in mind that this is a very small unit.
