At first, I thought that a high school guidance counselor would be enough, why would we need help outside of that?? Despite not being all-in at first, we went ahead and had a free consultation with Quad.

From the first call onward, I felt much more confident in the value of the service, especially since I was constantly updated on everything my son and his counselor, David, had been working on each month. He even helped my son start his own team and compete at the National FIRST Robotics Team Award in Tournament of Champions!!!

He also supported him in his idea to become a science and math tutor to freshmen high school students, and eventually my son had a group looking forward to his tutelage every Thursday night. David really helped him step into his passion for STEM, particularly robotics and engineering.

My son's accomplishments and his record of them did help immensely when it came time to fill out the Common Application's activities section and to write supplemental essays about passions and his chosen major. David did so much more than just editing his work,he helped him reformat and rework entire paragraphs and sections to ensure everything was as impactful as possible.

Thanks to Quad Education and David, my son is off to MIT this fall. What a fantastic journey this has been! If you're a parent wondering whether getting started early is right for your kid, DO it! It's a no-brainer, and I'm not sure if my son would have felt as motivated with David there to cheer him on and support him at every step.
