I had an issue with my motor long after the warranty period had expired. They asked me to send it to them to trouble shoot. I was informed when they recieved it, they fixed it in only a few days and are sending it back all at a super reasonable cost. After dealing with companies about their product, I always ask myself would I ever buy another product from this company... As you can see in the 5 stars. That I gave them my answer was pretty easy.

Getting right to the point… Luna X2 is a darn good bike.
Ordered and received mine within one week. Assembly was made simpler by Luna’s helpful videos.

My backstory: Sold my Harley 3 years ago and bought a fat-tire ebike, put 3,000 miles on it, knew I really liked it, but the unstoppable squeaking of the fat tire bike’s one-piston brakes had me ride a friend’s X1. I had only a guess of how comfortable a full-suspension bike rides. Holy crap! Why did I wait so long?

Before writing any review, I wanted to ride my X2 for a month, during which I got the cockpit dialed in perfect…(brakes, throttle, mirror, controller, bell, dropper seat post, shifter, all set at comfortable wrist degrees to the bars). I added a 3” stem because I’m 71 and need to sit slightly straighter, bought a soft seat, added a kickstand, mirror, bell, and also purchased the 860 color display (highly recommended). The X2 ride is so smooth, the power is more than plentiful, the paint shines like a star-filled universe.

Yes, there was due some tweaking of nuts and bolts, and psi settings for the high-quality Rock Shox rider’s weight. Again, all made simpler by Luna’s helpful videos. And when I contacted Luna’s support staff with a question, they were spot-on. Now all the hills and trails and roads around me are keeping me young. Thank you, Luna.

Ordered a set of 21/18 Surron wheels complete with tires for my Talaria MX4 even though it is clearly stated that they will not fit Talaria. I could not pass up the fantastic price. Compared to all of the competitors, about half. The Surron and Talaria front wheels are interchangeable, brake diameter is different but you can use your old Talaria 220mm or the 220mm provided with the Luna set. To use the Surron rear you need two things, a Surron to Talaria rear wheel adaptor kit and a 220mm Surron rear disk (Luna, maybe you should stock these two parts and offer a Talaria option, still way cheaper). The wheels seem well constructed and the tires seem good for having no brand name. The whole assembly looks stronger than the original wheel and tires. The rear rim was offset from centerline by about a half inch, most likely for the wider rear tire to clear the chain on the narrow Surron swingarm. Not needed on the Talaria and was very noticeably offset. Not great for handling. Was corrected with a few turns of the spoke nipples with a 7mm wrench (In my case 6 swings of the wrench. looser on one side tighter on the other).
Added 5.2 lbs to the front, 4.1 lbs to the rear.Just under 10 lbs total.
The change in handling is huge. Now handles more like a motorcycle than a mountain bike. I'm a desert rider and the original wheel set seemed so squirrelly in the fast open desert. Now the bike seems slower because the front rolls over everything and doesn't keep tucking in turns. Yes it did add 10 lbs, but the 21/18 Talaria is still 60-70 lbs lighter and 10" inches shorter in wheelbase than a full size dirt bike. And as always, I just order from Luna and correct stuff appears. No issues.

I'm happy with Luna Cycles because they not only sold me a Sur Ron X for a good price, but they also accepted several returned parts that didn't work out, as I was sorting out my custom Surron Street.
