Love this lift, I have had it on my 2014 Silverado 1500 4x4 for 6 months now and still rides great not to mention looks great. Installation only took my shop about 4-5 hours to install and McGaughys came highly recommended by their employees who had a similar lift on their trucks. No cutting , welding, nothing. Just install. If you are like me and order online, the UPS guy will probably ask for you to help get it outa his truck haha parts are very heavy. 100% satisfied with this lift and its aesthetics . Simply a beautiful, functional, affordable lift. Hope my review helps make your decision easier, ps. I have mine set at 8" and its almost to high in the front, I'd probably set the front at 7" or if you go 8" , add the extra leaf spring to give it just a slight rake. Good luck!

Great product , fit and easy to install GREAT !!!!

Was a little Leary about the kit as finding parts for these older trucks that bolt right up is a pain. But these spindles bolted right to the factory location, didn't have to worry about making holes bigger or sending them back multiple times. Pair these up with the 2 inch drop springs and you have a good ride height that is streetable yet does t make for a hard ride. Will be buying this kit again when restoring the next one.

This kit is flawless ! The work and welds and powdercoat is fantastic i installed it myself and it was done in one weekend by myself ! These guys are very informative and helpful and the packing was done very well The kit has been on my truck almost a year now and it's still like new I also went the 9 inches the ride isn't bad at all. this kit has it all! Ordered this for my 79 short and wide to convert over to run some new 6 lug wheels and it worked pefect.

I had no problem installing the dropped spindles. Even the dust shield fit right up by enlarging the mounting holes a fraction of an inch. My only problem was trying to get the Wilwood D52 after market calipers to go in stright. A little investigation revealed that right at the bottom the spindles are not as deep as the stock ones. The calipers fit the stock spindles fine. So with a little die grinder I took off a very slight area on the bottom just ahead of where the slide pad is for the caliper. This amounted to no more that a cast flashing in depth. After that no problem. So you spindles will fit a Willwood (D52)after market two piston caliper. Over all an great product.
