Heavier and more substantial than the previous 3 inflatable beds that only lasted around 12 months. We do 8 camping trips a year so the bed gets a lot of use. I have not slept on this bed yet as the camping season is over but I have inflated it on 3 separate occasions and left it for a full day each time. I’m very pleased to say it retained full pressure each time so I’m looking forward to April 24.

pretty comfortable but it looses some air each night. i had a bigger one from active era and it didnt loose air as quickly i dont think.

Not slept on it yet but inflated & deflated it, lay down on it a couple of times. Easy and quick to set up, seemed comfortable, packed away on hold-all again. My view, poor design in that raised pillow at end opposite to pump/power point end; electric cable not long enough to stretch. Normally for use as spare visitor bed rather than camping you’d have pillow head against the wall. So to add quick top up inflation you want pump end also by wall and power point. You can’t! Weird for adult needing full length to sleep with feet on pillow though for child okay. I’m keeping it as all else seems excellent but I won’t buy a second one.

This is the second air bed I’ve bought from Active Era after I got a puncture in my last! Totally my fault though as I had to drag it out of my wardrobe as it’s quite heavy to move when it’s deflated. When it’s inflated though it’s brilliant and my guests have much preferred it than any other air bed they may have slept on in the past. It nice and high like normal bed which is one of the main features why I bought it. It’s also really easy to inflate and deflate with the plug that fits nicely snug inside the mattress when not being used. Would highly recommend to others looking to purchase a decent air bed.

Excellent piece of kit

Fabulous airbed. bed for guest, however I tried the bed out myself beforehand and considering I have a special firm mattress for my back condition I was really impressed with the comfort the top layer of air bed provided. I inflated a couple of days previous to first use as advise in instruction leaflet. the air only lost a little air and topped up before first use. A good solid structure when inflated. good service / Delivery and good price. Overall very pleased with purchase of this airbed after much research. Deffinately recommend to others.

I only sleep on it once, as had friends kids round for sleep over, was comfortable and woke with no pain, the only thing I had to leave the bed up for 5 days..as the smell of new plastic was strong Pumps and deflation was good, please with this bed.

The single Active Era bed has not, as yet, been Road Tested, but as this is the second Active Era product purchased I’m fairly convinced it will live up to the high-quality and satisfying sleep of its larger brother. Should this not prove to be the case, but I’m fully confident your reputation is secure! The ease of ordering, choice of product, price and delivery times are also exemplary.

Great bed, used it every night whilst I wait for my other bed to be delivered. It stays up and I have had nothing but a good nights sleep each use. I always deflate it as it's just common sense to do so when its not in use, I then inflate it about one hour before use and top it up again slightly before I climb in. The plastic has to stretch and naturally it deflates ever so slightly by the morning (I guess how much deflation depends on body weight). I climb in and out of it like I would a normal bed, I also make sure I protect the underneath by laying a throw. The bad reviews nearly put me off but honestly I feel like some (not all) are people who expect it to never lose any air which is just ridiculous. Buying another one soon I am that impressed. Pros: very quick to inflate/deflate and easy to fold up. great nights sleep, holds heavy people Cons.: you couldn't realistically travel far with it unless you were in a car or very strong. you may feel nervous the first night. Tips: Protect it top and bottom no matter what flooring you on and if you have pets its a must.

Our single bed is very comfortable and holds its air. The only slight problem is that it is not very long. It would be difficult for someone of 6ft or more

Great customer service when the motor failed on our airbed within 12 months - replacement arranged and delivered promptly with no quibbles. I am sure the motor failure was a one off and remain very happy with the airbed.
