Best eyesight test and pupil alignment I've had for many years. Amar is friendly and really knowledgeable about frames, lenses, the adjustments you need. The optician's work was great - my vision is so clear now. I can see better through these varifocals than any for years, and looking up, down, across, etc, is without any wobble or funny distortion. They're not perfect, but very very good. Many thanks for a great experience. I did buy the most expensive lenses, etc, so that might have helped, too. But one of these glasses or the 3 hopeless ones I was using since September for the same price from somewhere else? This one. :)

Very pleasant staff that help the experience being comfortable

Not all opticians are the same. I was specifically looking for a particular lens for my spectacles. I was extremely pleased to hear that EyeTech offered the Carl Zeiss Drivesafe lens. Every question I asked was answered professionally and accurately. After looking at some frames, a staff member assisted me in choosing one that fitted my requirements. I wear my specs approximately 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, so I am a bit fussy when choosing the right frame and lens. I was told that the specs would take a couple of weeks to arrive as the lens manufacturering process takes this time. After about 10 days I get a call notifying me of the arrival, of my specs. The moment I put them on, there was a huge difference in clarity, field of vision and glare reduction. Carl Zeiss optics use a laser to engrave a small "Z" on the inner part of the lens that can only be seen by taking the specs off. This is a mark of authenticity from Zeiss. This can be verified from the inner lenses, in my specs. I cannot thank the EyeTech staff enough. It's not very often in this day and age that staff go the extra mile to genuinely help you out. I specifically wanted the Zeiss lenses in my specs. They were not upsold to me or anything like that. I am extremely pleased with the product and service received from EyeTech. I highly recommend them. I also extremely highly recommend the Zeiss Drivesafe lenses. It's like going from dial up to broadband. You just wouldn't do it. The difference is huge and it should be, considering Zeiss Optics are one of the most advanced lens producers in the world (look it up). I've been wearing specs since I was 10. I've been and done that with all the usual high street opticians. You won't get a better level of expertise or genuine customer concern from anywhere else. I don't normally do reviews, but the outstanding level of service from EyeTech opticians deserves to be highlighted.
