We had the lobster tails as well as the chicken great combo highly recommend at least giving this place try. I have tried two others this is the best one because I can change what comes in my next order and not be stuck with the same meats over and over again

My daughter in Maine bought us a gift box from Farmer Dan for Christmas. Most of the beef was shredded or ground, along with some hot dogs and boneless chicken. We had the shredded meat and steaks tonight. The taste was good but we found too many parts of each cut inedible (essentially grissel, which was impossible to break down with our human teeth). I would not recommend to her buying this package again. I know she had the best of intentions and she always supports local businesses in Maine.

I've been buying quality beef from Hearstone Farm since August of 2021 - and will continue to purchase their products for as long as they'll let me. Standouts for me: Roasts (Chuck and Brisket), Steaks (Ribeye and Porterhouse), Steak Burgers, Ground Beef, and yes pork (pork chops and bacon) and chicken products (whole chickens, chicken thighs, and Turkeys) from their quality partners (The Turkey for Thanksgiving 2022 was the best I've served). I will make it a point to start taking pictures in 2023!

Great value for money and the brisket and short ribs MELT in your mouth. There is a great beefy flavor without being gamey and the fat to meat ratio is usually spot on.

ALL OF THE MEATS IN OUR LAST ORDER WERE WONDERFUL. STEAK TASTED LIKE A STEAK SHOULD. ONLY THINK I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE ABOUT THE FRJITA MEAT WOULD BE TO HAVE THE OPTIONS OF SMALLER PAXKAGES. My husband and I went to Scotland in March and discovered the magic of Scotch beef. Desperate to find a source of said Scotch beef here in the states my husband discovered Heartstone Farm. We never imagined it would come close to the quality, flavor or texture of Scotch beef but hoped it would at least suffice. To our surprise, not only is the meat from Heartstone every bit as delicious, we also feel a deep sense of gratitude for the ability to source high quality, humanely raised meat so close to home. We are so pleased with Farmer Dan’s products that we gobbled up our last box and had to move our order up 4 weeks earlier than expected! If you love yourself you’ll go ahead and try a little of everything and you won’t be disappointed!

Quick shipping, arrived FROZEN! and they all look like great cuts of beef. Nice proportions that will be great for grilling or pan frying. I have used other beef venders and they meat usually arrives in the semi frozen-thawed state. Fair pricing too and best of all responsible farming which is a throw back to the farmers that lived around me when I was a kid.

Quality of the beef is phenomenal. Far superior in taste and tenderness compared to the big grocery stores. Yes, it may be slightly more, but like anything else in life, you get what you pay for.

I am about halfway through trying out everything I purchased with my first order from Heartsone a few weeks ago. Yesterday I grilled the two ribeyes I purchased, and my wife and I both loved them. They had great beef flavor, and were very tender. I definitely plan on buying more of these steaks.

This is our first time and so far we are very happy. The packaging worked to keep everything frozen in record high temperatures. The meat we have eaten is delicious and tender. One thing I am very happy about is that the individual packages don't leak while being defrosted.

Our order was received ad promised. Everything frozen solid. The shipping cost os well worth it. Sure we will be ordering from Heartstone Farms again.
