I've been working with Saahil ever since I enrolled in the 40 hour MCAT tutoring program. At that point, my sister had already worked with Inspira Advantage and suggested that I enroll to see if I could raise my score to the 515+ level. I'm not a great test taker and I think timing in the MCAT is especially difficult, but - after several private tutoring sessions - Saahil really helped me get to the 515+ I was hoping for. Saahil is an MCAT expert (he'll be able to walk you through the best way to solve any problem you throw at him), but he's also excellent at helping you maximize your study time -- he really makes an effort to identify the areas of improvement that will help you achieve the largest score improvement on the test. In particular, I think the private tutoring sessions were especially helpful because Saahil and I were able to look into my weak areas much more closely (i.e. CARS and organic chemistry). He was also able to show me CARS shortcuts that were tailored to my specific weaknesses and create a personalized study plan that allowed me to efficiently tackle low-hanging fruit given my tight timeline. And while the tutoring sessions are a little pricey, in the end, I'm extremely glad that I decided to work with Saahil and I thought the tutoring sessions were absolutely worth it. My MCAT journey was not an easy one for me, but I'm glad I didn't give up. Seeking the right kind of help can really make all the difference and I think Saahil was key throughout my whole process.

After receiving an invitation to interview at three med schools, I reached out to Inspira Advantage to investigate setting up a mock interview. I was lucky enough to be paired up with Andrew, and with his help, I went into my interview feeling extremely confident. He gave me broad insights on what admissions officers are looking for in an interview, as well as extremely personalized feedback based on our mock interview. He made me aware of my physical and verbal ticks that could be distracting, and he recapped my each of my answers, highlighting which ones could use work and in what way. The first time that I took the 12 hour MCAT tutoring program with Inspira Advantage, I made significant progress during the program but was unable to find the time to study along with my tutoring sessions (you have to put in work as well). I took the 24 hour Inspira MCAT tutoring program again roughly a year later and saw even greater benefit from the program given a starting knowledge base. I found there to be great benefit to the 1:1 program (particularly with my instructor, Joe) to pick up small tips and tricks that added small bumps to my score (accumulating 2-3 points here and there adds up). Joe was helpful during the tutoring sessions, outside of sessions, and even after the program concluded. The quality of Inspira's tutoring was instrumental to helping me achieve my goal MCAT score.

I am glad that I did my interview preparations with Inspira! My mentor, Ramin, was fully prepared in all his sessions and had clear targets for me to achieve until the next session. He encouraged me a lot and gave me great pointers to improve.

Riley was incredibly helpful in improving my score by 19 points (500 --> 519). He pinpointed my weaknesses in both organic chemistry and cars, even though I had really only flagged cars as a concern. In addition to teaching me strategy and diving deeper into questions I was answering incorrectly, Riley was just a calming presence with the perfect balance of pushing me to be better and serving as a motivational coach. After about 5 years away from school and looking for a career shift, I chose to take the Inspira Advantage 60 hour MCAT tutoring program in preparation for the MCAT. After graduating from school in 2017 I took the MCAT as a baseline with the anticipation that I may want to go to med school in the future: I scored a 508. For the next five years I spent zero time thinking about the MCAT, although the lab I did work at is fairly quant heavy. That should give a fair amount of background on where I stood going into the Inspira program. I think this was the right choice for me. The tutoring itself was conducted in a manner that made it comprehensible for anyone with even a minimal background in the subject matter. The structure of the tutoring program, which is tailored to where you stand, is such that it builds on itself week by week and homework is meant to introduce concepts that would be expounded upon in the next class. I found the program to be critical to my performance on the exam in such that all concepts for answering questions, strategies, and problem type were discussed at nearly all levels of difficulty in class. My personalized program followed a basic outline: present a concept, work through an easy version of the problem as a class, work on a harder version alone, mix in that concept with others in a problem set. I found this manner of learning to be helpful. As for the homework/workload, it is paced at a fair clip but not breakneck speed. I spent about 10 hours a week on homework and performed one 4 hour practice test every 2-4 weeks. The clearly set out study plan, which was again, tailored for me, helped keep me on track and direct my studying. I found this program to be most useful in that it set foundations and built upon concepts learned earlier in the program. Finally, my tutor, Bretton, was phenomenal for a variety of reasons. Principally, his presentation of concepts was articulate and easily understandable. Jeff was always available to help after the tutoring session or through email. Many times I emailed Bretton with a problem or concept I was struggling on and would have a video back from him talking through the problem within 24 hours. I would recommend him to anyone. I ended up taking the exam once and scored a 522. I took this improvement from a 508 years ago in large part to be due to the instruction and availability of Bretton.

As a first-generation college graduate, the med school admissions process was daunting, and I was skeptical about working with a consultant. I talked to several consultants who tried to push me to apply to "safety" schools that I wasn't interested in or tried to push me to pay for their all-inclusive packages. Katherine was the only person who not only gave me critical feedback and opinions, but also, trusted my vision.

Working with Chiamaka was the best decision I made. I had chatted with a few other consultants, but felt the most at ease with Inspira after our intro call. They seemed genuinely excited about working with me, and I really appreciated the enrollment manager's energy and encouragement. Since I was only planning to apply to five programs, Inspira was very flexible with pricing and we worked on an hourly basis for my top school's applications. I was able to leverage the insights to apply for my backup program. Chiamaka's detailed feedback and thoughtful suggestions helped me to highlight the most important parts of my story in the essays. I had a great experience with Costner, who helped me get admitted to an MD program! Costner provided highly valuable support throughout the entire med school application process. In the beginning, he invested his time upfront to make sure he understood my background and personal history. This enabled him to help me unpack my story, and craft the narrative around my application docs such as personal statements, essays, activities list, AAMCAS, etc. As part of the process, he provided strategic advice around recommender selection, and the key 'selling points' he thought I needed to highlight as part of my application. He was also incredibly helpful in terms of helping me prepare for my interview. I walked away from our mock interview session with much more clarity on what and how I should try to communicate in response to potential interview questions. Overall Costner's help went a long way in making me feel supported throughout the application process. I'd highly recommend his services.

Andrew is, hands down, THE BEST. I purchased start-to-finish packages and have worked with Andrew for almost ten months. I recall we spent hours brainstorming and talking through every personal statement idea I had. His feedback on my personal statement was always very thorough, on-point, and helpful. He also offered to hop on a call to discuss those personal statement comments to ensure I was on the same page. Andrew was super responsive - I was never stressed about meeting deadlines because we'd finish all the essays and application questions well ahead. She also offered tremendous help to prepare me for all different kinds of interviews. We did at least two mock interviews for each interview format/type, and each session lasted at least an hour. I couldn't have done it without Andrew. I was not super confident about my candidacy, given that my MCAT and clinical shadowing experience are below average in a lot of school's admitted student profile.
