I chose to hire an admissions consultant because I didn't want to risk the chance of having to reapply and didn't trust myself to be able to put my best application together alone. Truthfully, my main deciding factor in selecting Inspira Advantage was their price point. In comparison to other services, they were by far the most reasonably priced and I even received a discount on the end-to-end 30 school package. Definitely be aware that the lesser price does not mean lesser service. From the very start when I worked with Simone, she was super friendly and helpful and was there for any questions I had. She helped me tremendously right from the start on our video convo in helping me understand exactly what I could get out of my MD experience, drawing out my reasons why my short/long term goals, and how to best articulate my story. I also returned to her a survey (which is critical so I recommend you spend a lot of time answering completely) and she put together my action plan which was basically my road map for my entire application. She helped me pick out my best stories, strengths, and weaknesses and was very patient with me on revising my personal statement and AMCAS responses multiple times. She kept trying to dig deeper and deeper to get the best info out of me and into my personal statement, and she phrased questions to me that really made me think. Simone was always positive, encouraging, helpful, and prompt. It was a stress-free process to communicate with her and use her revisions and notes to develop a polished essay. In the end, I was accepted to my dream MD program which was the school we had worked on together, so mission accomplished. Inspira Advantage also provided tons of published material on AMCAS, application tips, personal statement help, etc. which I used extensively.

I found this MCAT tutoring program to be a worthwhile investment. I signed up primarily for accountability, but I also found the content and strategies very helpful. Tomas is a very good tutor - from a teaching perspective, as strong as any college professor I have experienced. To learn the test and stay motivated/accountable, Inspira's 60 hour MCAT program is worth the cost and time commitment. My score increased across pretty much every section, and went up significantly in biological and biochemical foundations of living systems. Tomas provided me with intuitive explanations of tough math problems, which complemented the time I invested in solving them. The focus on timing and strategic approach to taking the test was very valuable. The timing method that Tomas taught me is extremely helpful and I used it religiously during my exam. This course taught me that getting a handle on timing and the related nuances of an adaptive model is half the battle. Overall, very pleased. Would recommend to a friend - particularly someone who is very committed to attending medical school.

I was connected to the Inspira team through an alum from my alma mater who was a former client and who recommended them strongly (she had gotten accepted to Perelman with them). I knew I would need tutoring in order to actually spend time working on the MCAT, and the 1:1 program structure was extremely helpful. Ayush is the epitome of a tutor- you can tell he's been tutoring for a long time, and has practical suggestions on how to improve your score. I honestly didn't hold out much hope for being able to improve my score enough from my initial practice test of score of 491, and thought it would take at least three to six months. Miraculously, I had signed myself up for an exam the week following the end of my program (all of 8 weeks out), and went into it expecting not to reach my target score of 510, and actually scored a 516!!! Turns out diligently doing all the work Ayush assigned, and attending sessions regularly actually works! I listened to his advice about moving on quickly from problems that weren't my strengths, and actually finished all sections of my exam with time to spare! Thanks Ayush and Inspira Advantage!

I used Hailey's services for a mock interview to help me with my interviews. Not only did she provide me with the insight on how to tell my story in a concise manner for the interviews, she also helped me by doing a mock interview and providing feedback on my answers, mannerisms, what I did well, and what I could improve on. She also left time for me to ask the questions that I would ask the potential committee and helped me cater those questions to the individual I would be interviewing with. Through recording the mock interview, it was also extremely helpful to watch back my own mannerisms in that staged-professional environment with the pressure on. She is extremely sweet and kind and was so encouraging to help me gain confidence through this process. Overall, I used her for four interview sessions, was able to ace all my interviews, and also got accepted to med schools! Highly recommend her services.

Inspira assigned Howard as my mentor. Our brainstorming sessions were very constructive. He always seemed to ask the right questions during the sessions, which made me think over my application and improve it. I took the 40 hour MCAT tutoring program with Jose. He was an excellent tutor, and really put a lot of effort into clearly explaining how to approach the test and different question types, rather than how to simply solve a specific problem. I had taken the MCAT previously, but the prep I received from the program with Jose made me feel much more confident about my ability to achieve a high score. In particular, the personalized tutoring plan that he created was very useful to prioritize how to prepare ahead of the exam. I can't recommend taking classes with Jose enough.

I was accepted into Icahn School of Medicine and without Savanah, it would not have happened. I chose the hourly package, as I was in a few med school application prep programs, but without Savanah, I would not have been accepted. Savanah truly cared about me as an individual and not just a number. She was very candid, but warm at the same time. Her adcom experience is invaluable and she will give you the insights you need to improve your application. I felt very prepared for the MMI interview because of my time with her. She was so positive and encouraging it really helped to calm my nerves. I am forever thankful I chose to work with Savanah. Well worth the investment.

When I began talking to older people about the MCAT, everyone recommended I use Inspira Advantage. I strongly echo this advice. They are unparalleled in their resources and knowledge of the MCAT. I used Waleed for the 60 hour MCAT program, following a stint with another tutor at a different company. I worked with Waleed remotely over video chat, which worked out great. Waleed was a very good tutor. He came prepared to every session, knew the answers to my questions, and had a game plan each time. He was very responsive over email, and never cut off sessions until he was done explaining answers to my questions. I worked with Waleed almost exclusively on the CARS and Chemistry & Physics sections. He was realistic in setting expectations, and always helpful. I highly recommend working with him!

I came into the med school process looking to achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. The story I wanted to convey was kind of nebulous and I had a hard time definitively describing why exactly I wanted to become a doctor. I could not recommend Bima enough as with her help on a 20 school package, I got into four med schools! Let me start off by saying that Saahil is an absolutely incredible instructor. He is able to distill and convey complicated information in a way that is both engaging and easy to comprehend. I don't know how he does it, but Saahil somehow customizes the course perfectly for you in way that it truly feels like it's built for your needs. Prior to taking the course, I had been doing self-guided study for a few months but had not seen any meaningful progress in my performance. I had scored a 503 on my first practice test, but like many med school hopefuls, I was aiming to score in the 515+ range. Through the tutoring program, I learned more efficient study frameworks, test taking strategies and how to tackle thornier subjects and question types. Saahil was an enormous help through the whole process and a wonderful tutor. For example, after each of my practice tests throughout the tutoring program, Saahil provided personalized analysis and in-depth feedback on where I was losing points and what tweaks I could make in my approach in order to see the results I was looking for. His insights were spot-on, and with some fine-tuning I was able to reach the 518 score I was shooting for.
