I took the 60 hour MCAT tutoring program with Tomas. Tomas is a great instructor. He does a great job of providing you tricks and tips to ace the MCAT. My score jumped 16 points from the beginning of my tutoring sessions. Tomas also does a good job providing student specific strategies. I have test accommodations and he was able to provide me strategies specific to my accommodations. He also keeps in touch with you after the tutoring sessions to provide you any additional advice or resources you may need. I highly recommend taking the tutoring sessions with Tomas.

I was hesitant about investing in a med school admissions consulting firm because of the price tag, and looking back I have no regrets in investing in the hourly services package with Inspira Advantage. I was a TMDSAS applicant in 2019 and was so happy when I was invited to leave this review. I have such fond memories of working with the Inspira team. They were marvelous in every regard. It was always a goal of mine to go to med school and at first, I thought I could go the cheap route and do it on my own. Big mistake. I ended up getting rejected from every school but I was determined, and decided to go for it the next year. I worked with Inspira Advantage's MCAT tutor Joe one on one to fine-tune a few skills after completing some self study. Joe was great! He was extremely organized and helped me find out how to squeeze a few more points out of the test. His nightly homework assignments kept me super focused until test day, and his advice about how to prepare in the week/days leading up to the test truly helped me go into the test with the confidence that I would get the score that I was hoping for. Joe was a great instructor and I highly recommend him to students who are looking to further their MCAT studies.

I studied for about 4-5 months on my own using other study materials and got a 505, but after the 40 hour tutoring program with Inspira Advantage I ended up with a 524. I especially liked the structured tutoring setup where each week there would be assigned reading and practice problems followed up by a tutoring session where we would go over strategies and problem types that corresponded with the homework. The test is so much about strategy and my instructor, Joe Kellum, was awesome in helping to identify the problem types and apply the different strategies to correctly answer the questions. He also provided super helpful input after each of the practice tests to help me figure out what I was getting wrong and where I should be directing my time and resources. At the end of the program, he provided an even better breakdown of where to spend the next couple weeks before my test. For anyone looking for a solid structured study plan and an insightful instructor, I would highly recommend Inspira Advantage and Joe.

Josh was integral to my med school application process, and I truly could not recommend him enough. When I first met with him, I was very lost on where to begin with my school selection and personal statement, and he provided several exercises to get me going. From there, I was able to find a thread throughout my life/career that felt true to who I am and where I'm going. Without him, I am positive that I wouldn't have come out with such a strong school list and written documents. Josh was also very helpful in preparing me for interviews by conducting simulated mock interviews where he asked some tough questions and gave honest, constructive feedback. I know I wouldn't have been as well prepared without him. Finally, he played a major role in my decision-making process. I was very torn between 2 schools, and he not only offered his own advice, but also sourced thoughts from his network to help bring in additional data points. I felt confident with my final decision thanks to Josh, and I intend to stay in touch with him throughout med school and beyond.

From our initial call, Jennifer made it clear the process was more than just helping me gain admission to my programs of choice. I used an hourly package to write 12 secondary essays. Emily worked with me to effectively craft my unique story into a compelling desire to pursue med school (I am a musician by night and a researcher in a pharma company by day). I had the story in my head, but Emily took my essays from ok to great. She brought out passion, specifics (that I had long forgotten), and detailed knowledge about the nuances of each school to help me tailor each application. She was also incredibly efficient with the limited time we had, turning each iteration of my essays around quickly -- sometimes within hours. End result: 3 med school acceptances, plus a substantial merit fellowship option. She has also continued to coach me on negotiation strategies post-acceptances. 10/10 recommend! Stats: MCAT 512, GPA 3.68, psychology undergrad
