Unique experience - Dear Steve,
Thanks so much for the wonderful chocolate cake for my granddaughter! It was a unique experience having it delivered to her at summer camp -- she and her friends loved it; they said it was delicious! But the best part was your personal interest, I really appreciated your little email notes to me when I was worried about whether it would get there on time. Thanks very much for everything! Chocolate Truffle Birthday Cake
Best chocolate cake - Dear Steve,
My daughter loved her chocolate birthday cake and complete party kit. I was surprised when she told me how big it was. It arrived in perfect condition and she invited several friends over and they said it was the best chocolate cake they've ever eaten, which made me happy.
i will certainly use your site again and might even order a cake for myself for my next birthday...;-)
thank you for being such an attentive baker

Chocolate Truffle Birthday Cake
Chef Steve to our Rescue! - My daughter was about 10 years old when she announced to her family that you could tell how well loved you are by the number of birthday cakes you receive for your birthday!
Now, nearly 20 years later, she is having a bit of a rough time. She told me that she was skipping her birthday this year. Well, this Mama doesn't forget - so Chef Steve to the rescue!! The day before her birthday her cake arrived at the research lab where she works 1,000 miles away from me. Talk about a surprise! It was Delicious and she was thrilled that everything they needed was there. The comments from her coworkers? She has instructions to contact every set of parents and explain how important birthday cakes are to show how much you are loved! And Annya from South America says Chocolate on Chocolate is an EXCELLENT flavor combination. The whole experience - A+! Thanks, Chef Steve.

Strawberry Grand Marnier Cake
Was in heaven with this cake - I recently moved away from my mother to persue my master's degree and it was the first time I was away from my mother for her birthday. I was truly upset because my mother and I are extremely close. When I found your website I was worried about how the cake would arrive and what the quality would be since I never ordered a cake online before. Well, I ended up being able to go to my mother's house for her birthday and the cake got there before I did! When she saw it her face lit up and I have to say, it's the happiest I've seen my mother in a while. When she tasted the cake she was in heaven! I got so many complements on the cake from everyone who was there and my mother couldn't stop thanking me for making her birthday special. The cake was absolutely delicious. It was moist, sweet, and filled with delicious FRESH strawberries. I can't express how thankful I am for your service. It really and truly helps people keep in touch. My mother felt so special on her birthday and I could never thank you enough for it. I will definitely be ordering again!

Vanilla Birthday Cake
Perfect Service - Thank you so much for all your help in getting my daughter's birthday cake to her. She is currently in the Army at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, where she celebrated her 18th birthday. She requested that her cake be shared with 3 other fellow soldiers, who all celebrated birthdays together. In order for all to share, all names had to be printed on the shipment, so this was really important to us. She called home last night to report that she and her three friends had a wonderful feast on their cake and stuffed themselves till they were nearly sick. These soldiers have a
limited amount of time in which to eat anything that they may receive in the mail, so having all the necessities for a small party (plates, utensils etc) when the box was opened was just perfect.
Thanks for offering this service online. It was just perfect for this occasion. I'm sure you will be hearing from us again in the future!

Huge hit every year - I am so happy you are offering this cake for Easter again this year!! I bought it last year and it was a huge hit!! The chocolate cake is very moist and the vanilla butter cream is very flavorful. Of course, all the kids fought over the one bunny. Hopefully this cake can be a new tradition for our family!
Thank you and Happy Easter!

We ate it all up - As a general rule I do not care for Chocolate cakes but it was the best cake I have ever tasted. It arrived on time and all my guest loved it. And ate it all up. I had thought they would leave a bite but they didn't. They loved the icing too.....

German Chocolate Cake
Best Cake - I have never written a review on a product; however, I felt I needed to share my experience with 1-800-BAKERY.com. I ordered the German Chocolate Cake to be delivered to Oklahoma for my Dad's 70th Birthday and believe me, I was skeptical about ordering a CAKE online.
Not only was the package securely wrapped, the cake was BEAUTIFUL. To quote several people at the party, including my very finicky Mother, It is the BEST German chocolate cake that I've ever tasted. Now, THAT is a compliment!
Thank you for prompt service and a DELICIOUS cake!

Candles not added - Got for my Dad who does not live nearby.said cake was very moist &had a good taste. Delivered on time & nicely packaged. Would definitely recommend.the only draw back was it said it would come with candles, plates & napkins but it did not so it took away from the birthday surprise.
