Prices have gone up. There is now a very noticeable difference between the INR and USD prices, so it is no longer as economical as it used to be earlier.
Customer support continues to be good, however multiple manual errors in weight, especially for light weight items. Need multiple iterations to get it fixed.

I ordered clothes from a local Indian website and had them shipped to grand trunk for onward forwarding to the US. Very little communication throughout the process so while I wasn't sure it was going to be smooth it worked out great! They repackaged multiple orders into one and sent it, no problems.

Giving 1 star less because you could have confirmed with me about the custom charges in advance and also before deciding to put a $50 value on the shipment my package was not worth $50.

I would say the experience was very good. The people were always responsive, and the material came very fast over Indian Post (of course, that credit belongs to IP but still). Will use the services more.

This service for package forwarding from India and US to worldwide is a slow service.
My package stayed in the US warehouse for over a month waiting to shipped due error processing payment via their gateway.
Even when I made another payment via PayPal the package still pending to be shipped for long.
However I have tried their Indian warehouse and the shipping was fast but they trick me on the shipping fee. First they said shipping fee would be 18$ for 3Kg. Package and when I went to pay they sent me invoice of 28$ and said that the information on site wasnt correct and the conversion rates have changed, but the surprise was when I received the package and the shipping label stated that the cost is Rs1110 (18$).
When I asked them about that they said there is othet fees (hidden).
Thats my experiment with them if it happens and you need a forwarding service from India be a ware of them.

Purchase HTC U11 in India and delivered to 1grandtrunk Chennai warehouse. Paid $86 for DHL shipment. Customer service said DHL required mobile battery drain fully before shipping. They open MFG Pakced Mobile and On it and informed me later. Mobile reached to their warehouse on 9th Aug 17, and they finally shipped it on 29th Aug 17. Before shipping they requested for $50 additional shipment hence total shipping cost was $136(Rs.8704), I requested them to send me Insurance paper which they did not send.I suspect they not even took insurance, in the mail they said they would cover only 75% of insurance, those 20 days was my worst experience over on email to customer service. When I received the product, it had good bubble wrap packing hence mobile was safe. The invoice which they print shows the total value of the product was Rs.9000($140) now you can think of mobile got misplaced what I will get. So please humble request don't order any electronic stuff from 1grandtrunk, you will face your worst nightmare. Apart from this happy path was customer executive had given the best support.
