I had a PSA test that showed high levels. My doctor immediately scheduled several invasive follow up tests. After going online, I learned I was never told what could cause high levels, or how to prepare for the test. My doctor refused to order a re-test, so I found Accesa online and did a re-screen myself. Thankfully, after preparing properly it was normal. Saved me some very uncomfortable procedures.
Amazing thing is I tested at the same lab in my city, and the fee was the same price as m copay through my insurance company.
