On my first visit, the lab did the wrong test. I was given a free second test, which produced a false positive for sickle cell trait, forcing me to go to my hospital for a more extensive blood test. This test confirmed that I do not, in fact, have sickle cell trait. It was an intensely frustrating experience.

Even when I inquired, I was told to order all tests. As I believed, they were redundant tests. I was trying to find out if I had a bladder or UTI. As my doctor confirmed, you wasted 76.00 of mine. I'm unemployed without insurance, every dollar counts. The staff was super nice, but I was misled.
