I have had a lot of name brand lift kits and also I install them professionally, this kit is amazing, built vary well nice welds installs well rides great no problems on the install at all the only bad part is the instructions are the worst I've seen and the front brake lines are too stretched set at 9'' you will need longer stainless steel ones but that's the only bad part best lift kit for the money hands down 08 GMC sierra running 38/15.50/18 every time I stop someone wants too look take pictures and ask questions about the lift

be the third set I've bought in about 4 years and it doesn't
get that much abuse.

I have it on my 08 chevy silverado 1500. Have it set at 8 inches. Just wish they sold a kit to make it level at 8 inches.

Ordered the 3.5/5 kit with 6 lug disc brake lit, adjustable Trac nar, c-notch and shocks. Kit came in complete.
Installation was straight forward and the truck rides fantastic!

I'm happy with the quality and ease of installation. I did notice a new drivetrain vibration. These do change the pinion angle slightly. I will try a set of shims, but if the vibration persists, I will be returming to the stock height shackles.

When assembling the strut assembly be careful when tightening the top bolt that holds the strut and spring together. My struts didn't come with a torque specification sheet and I snapped the top of the strut off like nothing when assembling. I had to order another strut. It's very easy to do so take caution. Other than that they work quite nicely on my Silverado.

I could not be happier with this lift. I replaced another kit with this lift. The other lift made my stabilitrak come on, and the ride was horrible. This kit rides better than stock.

The lift is all I expected. Well built and heaven duty I went with the fox shock upgrade. The only bad thing I have to say is don't be in a hurry to get it. It took two weeks just to get it shipped after I ordered it

I have lowered two trucks using all McGaughy's stuff and they never disappoint.

This product is great. I chose to go with the 4/6 drop with 24" wheels and a 295/30/24. Minimal rub and an amaizing ride. I installed this in my garage. I build cars and wasn't scared to to install this kit. The front was easy to instal. The rear took almost eight hours and three call to tech. The problem lies in the instructions. Their dog shit! My truck was new with 122 mi on it. The instructions need to be redone! Other shops and installers agree. There is just to many missing steps that are left out. these missing steps cause the installer to have to go back and fix. After several days of going back and fixing little things the instructions that were left out the truck looked great and rode even better. If I can give one piece of advice, redo the instructions to include everything. The install guide I got was to 2013, my truck is a 2017 and changes were made. Tech advised me of the changes. Please fix this issue! Your customers deserve it. Aside from that, I fully recommend this kit over any other. I've owned other lowered trucks and none have ridden this good!!!!!!! Thank you, but please unf*ck the installation instructions.

bought the cheaper Rough Country kit for my dad for Christmas. Installed it and...there's not enough words to explain the nightmare i've been through. It caused the front to bottom out, the rear to ride on the bumpstops (even after removing factory bump bracket and relocating), pressed everything so far that it wouldn't align, oh and it threw the pinion angle out so much we had to install wedges. It was actually so bad that when you hit a bump the truck would bounce almost into another lane. I spent more money trying to make that stupid kit work than it would have cost to buy the McGaughys to start with.
Also Rough Country sold me a kit for our 2014 despite i found out they relabled the 07-13 kit...which is why it didn't work.

Lesson learned, buy this nice kit to start with. Rides great, handles great, and has the adj option of 3/5 to 4/6.

Don't waste good money on cheap sh!t...that's the bottom line

I ordered this set of traction bars for two reason, the highly talked about brand and that I could order it in the color I wanted (the silver). They said adds two weeks for the powder coat. I was like okay no big deal. A whole month past and still nothing. It was 2 days before it hit a 2 month mark when they arrive. Packaged well boxes were not messed up at all. But on the bars themselves there was a couple little blemishes. Great product, great design, good style, love the way they look just very unsatisfied I didn't have them for the I was going too.

Put this kit on my 2014 ram 1500 express Standard cab. Installation is pretty straightforward. The front spindles went on as advertised with minimal difficulty. More getting the ball joint to drop than anything else. Rear springs were a breeze. The pan hard bracket went on fairly easily. The overall look of the truck is great. After the alignment the truck handles and rides great. Definitely less body roll with cornering. It is true that your wheels on the front do you stick out a bit more but it's acceptable.

Really pleased with the results took longer to get tires off and truck jacked up than changing out the springs. greatly improved look and rides much better.

Trusted name, great R&D to make a complete and correct lowering product for the new RAM. Only one thing could make this a 5 star perfect product, and I understand it's not part of a "lowering" kit; the upgraded beefier front sway bar from H***wig. Ride and alignment are great, but the front end, left to right sway-wobble is bad. Be the perfect, budget friendly, "Sport truck" lowering kit at that point. Great product all around guys!
