2007-2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Standard Cab 3/5", 4/6" & 5/7" Adjustable Drop Kit - McGaughys 34070
This is on my RCSB 2011 Sierra. I went with the full drop with 5/7 on my 4x4. Don't listen to people who say you can't drop it. This kit was honestly pretty difficult to install but was able to do it with a buddies help. Pay attention to the instructions for the spindles as you need to learn how to work with the CV axles. Very minor and I mean minor (rubbing the top of the fender)on stock 17s with 265/70/17 (yes i know I'm looking for some stock 20s with a lower profile tire. Will bottom out if you do not cut off the bump stop along with its bracket you will ride on it if you don't and will be really bumpy. I had to cut it off i would recommend if your going the full 7 drop and now have about 4-5 inches of clearance and have never bottomed out since. The angles on my cv axles are pretty my straight maybe barely any negative. I have no problem launching in 4hi. had it for a couple months no problems with the axles. 4 out of 5 because of the difficulty never done it before. Other than that I love it.

Recently had this kit installed on my 2013 Toyota Tundra! I mist say it looks amazing with my 22" Black Rhino's. The ride is also amazing. It is a bit bouncy as the weight in the rear causes for the occasional knocking. More customization is required to prevent the hard bounce over speed bumps and road hazards. Overall, I still am extremely satisfied with the look and feel of this kit.

Easy, no Hassel install. You will need a crows foot to torque the upper wheel hub nut. The lower ball joint nut didn't fity moog ball joints but not a problem. I just used the moog brand ones. Took me 4 hours for both sides. That included new upper controls and lower ball joints.

Took off 7.5 inch RC to install the McGaughy. Huuuge difference in height and ride. Great product, but be prepared for the sucky shipping. My son and I both bought one at different times and had the same bs shipping. Said it would go out in 48 hours, I had to call and beg for them to ship it a week later. My son went through the same thing.

Did exactly what I wanted. The only down fall is I had to lose the bed to get the old shackle bolt out and then slide it into the new shackle, and had to drop the tow hitch. Other than that it is awesome and fits great

Directions should be more clear. Laser cut parts should have been cut with nitrogen or have edges descaled, all cut edges peeled powder coating instantly. The u-bolt plate should be made from a higher grade of steel or thicker. spindle casting should have been more accurate to locate holes concentric to the boss, looks cheap otherwise.

I put this kit on my 2013 Ram Sport right after I got it. I was concerned that the spindles would be difficult to get in, but they were actually easier than the rear springs. Had the dealer align it to specs and they had no issues. I tow a travel trailer with no issues. After 3 years no regrets. The lower tailgate height has made it a lot easier to work out of the truck. And it looks cool

The only negative I have is the instruction sheet is not that clear. This was not an issue for me, I have done suspension and alignment work since the early 80's. I could just see where others may have an issue with it.
