all I got to say this is the best 7-9 inch lift I ever owned. I have 08 1500 mcgaughys 7-9" lift with 35-12.50-17 -12mm fuel rims set at 8 inch n is the smoothest ride. super easy to install.

Well built hanger,works on 91 Suburban but only 1 inch due to the filler hose on right rear.

We did the 34170 kit on a customers truck for a recent Street Trucks magazine tech article. The kit worked out perfectly for us. We also elected to run the 34049 rear air helper kit on the truck as well. What we liked most about this McGaughys kit is it allowed us the ability to fine tune the lowering amount in the front with the adjustable struts. The customer loved it, shot well for the magazine and was super straight forward! Get one, you'll love it!

Here's a few pics, 8" in front and 7" rear. 20x12 rims -44 offset on Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 33x12.50 R20. Minor plastic trim on front fender only!

Lowered my 77 short and wide with the 4.5" front and 6" rear kit and the stance is perfect! Im runnin 18s and 20s and there is no issues at all. I did order the shocks option as well they are nice lookin silver color made me decided to do more silver axcents on the truck. I would recomend this kit to anyone becaus mcgauphs is the best hand down!

Installed my new McGaughys 34170 kit over the weekend. It was super easy to do with basic tools. Talked to Rob on chat about easiest way to do the rear flip kit and his tips were a HUGE time saver! Basically DO NOT remove the drive shaft or driver side leaf, you can remove pass side one and then just swing rear end around! I mean damn that saves me some serious time! The rear hanger holes are a little off on the 15s but you just need to open them upa a bit and it worked perfect. cant be happier with this Mcgaughys kit!

I only gave it 4 stars, as MY personal opinion took away the last star. Otherwise, these springs do everything as advertised..

These are awesome springs... Ride equally as good, if not better than stockers... And do a perfect job at leveling...

Although I didn't do any before/after measuring, the truck is now officially "leveled"...

But IMO, it's too much, and I would rather a 1 and 1/2" drop coils... I just ordered some 3/4" lift spacers to hopefully fulfill my needs... And possibly for not blinding people(headlights) at night with a load/trailer...

These springs also don't seem to add any performance gains... Which is probably good for some... Again, personally, I'm after sport car performance, from a crew-cab truck... <-- Which is borderline dumb...LOL

These springs give a very "stock-ish" ride... With the benefits of being truly leveled, and possibly better performance given a slightly lower COG...

Super easy to install, although I had a scissor lift at hand... In which the hardest part, was getting the truck on the lift, as it has narrow frame rails...

A little backstory to what led me to this product, maybe it will help someone else out there. I bought a low mileage '79 C10 SWB that the owner said had McGaughy's spindles and torched front springs. (Flip kit in the rear) The torched coils seemingly had lost their temper and not even good shocks could control that motion. Not sure why, but the 2" coils didn't leave enough room and the 225/75R15 tires were rubbing constantly. So far the swap to the 1" coils is working out. Not sure why this truck didn't like the normal approx. 4/6 drop and I wouldn't have guessed that 3/6 would look right, but it does. Was a little disappointed with the delay in shipping when the site said they were available at the time I ordered. I previously ordered the 33128 and they arrived quickly.

They work great best spindles in the market.

Just finished installing this kit on my 2014 ram. This kit was so easy to install. Took me around 5 hrs to install with hand tools, a hurt elbow and a couple of smoke breaks. I love the stance. And the ride in my opinion is better than factory. I did go ahead and install the airlift 60818 helper bags while i had the springs out just so i don't have to worm them in later. I would definitely recommend this kit.

Just got it today through the mail! Did a great job with packing. Minor scratches normal with so much weight tho! Can't wait to get it installed!

Nice lift but when opened a lot of the parts were scratched and had paint runs and also cuts in the paint! Might be from the shipping with ups though

The kit is made very well. My only complaint is that the rear spring plate interferes with the shock bolts. It wasn't a huge ordeal but cost me an hour to modify.

Just bought this 2500HD to pull our 5th wheel camper. I didn't like how high the back-end of the truck was raised. Found these lowering shackles and thought I'd give them a try. Now the truck and trailer sits closer to being level and by lowering the truck I didn't noticed any difference in the ride. Wasn't the easiest thing to do because I couldn't raise the bed to get the top bolts out. I had to cut the seam above the shackles and bend over the seam to allow the springs to raise high enough so I could remove the bolts. Yes I recommend these shackles...

dropped the 63 4" front and 5 in the back these shocks were the pefect length and even came with the new bolt witch was good beacuse mine was rusted and didnt work.. good job mcgauphys!

Product looks good, Quality looks good. Everything fit with no problems. Shipping was slow. it took over two weeks. When I called they said they were waiting for them to come in from the factory. I should have been told the parts were backordered and an estimated ship date rather sitting and waiting with no word

seems like a good kit so far. Ride is a little firmer and the ride height looks nice.

Everything fit great. And is in great shape when delivery was made. Went on with hand tools. I did use a snap on impact on cnotch install and a grinder to cut stuff. Overall great product and very happy

if your looking for a lift for your everyday truck or even your show truck to take to SEMA this is the lift for you! It's affordable and an excellent lift. When it comes to a lift they say "you get what you pay for" but with this lift kit you get that and more! The only thing I saw that was sloppy was the boxes it came in but that has a lot to do with the company that is handling the shipping. Other than that it came in fast and ready to be put on. I wouldn't buy any other lift for my trucks
