It stinks that HTM is schismatic because it’s such an amazing translation

This Bible sits comfortably either in my lap or on my desk. It is well constructed to. withstand many readings. The note and essays are a gateway to Orthodox understanding.

inspiring! My children loved these.

Beautifully and thoughtfully done! As interesting and informative for the adult as it is for the child. Many helpful visuals to peak interest for the younger ones! God bless.

Wonderful book for little children!

This is a beautiful censer perfect for a home altar. One note though, while the description says the base of the censer can get hot, I have found that the entire censer becomes too hot to handle after a few minutes. I'd still recommend this, but consider picking up a heat-resistant glove to handle it with and a coaster to set it on.

Beautiful lamp, arrived with one of the blue "doors" broken, but I glued it back and it's just fine. Love having this at home!

I love how well this Bible is put together.

This is a great introduction to the Orthodox outlook on life. It's not a super deep dive, but it serves its purpose as being a great introduction to those on their journey into Orthodoxy. Orthodoxy is unlike "mainstream" Christianity and really unlike anything. Orthodoxy requires a lot of breaking down before building up. This may be a great starting point for those curious about Orthodoxy.

This Prayer Book occupies a place near my
reading chair' so it is available whenever I need assurance.

This book is an excellent introduction to both non-orthodox and orthodox. Each section challenges the reader to seek greater understanding. A welconme addition to any library.

As with all his works, Father DeYoung does a wonderful job of bringing things to the laypersons level. Fantastic, easy, relatively short read!

For the Fall Orthodoxy 101 class at our parish, geared to Inquirers and Catechumen, "Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy" was the beginning study book. The topic was so popular that members also wanted to join the class. We had to order more every week.

I’m thankful to learn about our saints through your calendar. Being Protestant theirs no talk of any saints. Thanks to you and your app AFR which I listen to almost everyday May God bless you and your work Dennis

Great books for kids and beyond. Good morals.

As a Presvytera I have seen a distinct lack of modern literature on loss and grief as an Orthodox Christian, and yet, I am often asked for recommendations by those newly grieving. What a need we have had for so long. I was so excited when I saw this Memory Eternal: Living with Grief as Orthodox Christians by Sarah Byrne-Martelli.

I incurred my deepest loss well before I became an Orthodox Christian. For the longest time I did not mourn as those without hope, but I also did not mourn in the fullness of the Faith. As I have grown in the faith, so has my grief matured. Byrne-Martelli does a fabulous job walking us through so many facets of loss and reminding us of what rich tools we have in liturgy, prayer, memorials, and community as Orthodox Christians. The author urges us along in finding a balance between the joyful sorrow that is so present in our faith, and she does in a loving, yet direct way.

My only complaint about the book is that the quotes and examples from the interview subjects felt disjointedly conveyed. A single person’s experience at a time would have felt easier to read, but that is merely a personal preference.

The real gem of this book is the bereavement group guide in the back of the book. Having attended a secular bereavement group and a protestant bereavement group in the past, I know what a difference it would make to have an Orthodox bereavement group where we do not have to explain our faith or try to manipulate our internal dialogue to our external experience. Byrne-Martelli uses her professional expertise and life experience to shape outlines that are very no-prep. With this text, anyone with the desire and heart for a bereavement ministry will be able to run an 8-week group with the potential to go even further.

Perfect!

They are absolutely beautiful cards.

The brocchure was helpful to introduce me to Ancient Faith
