Given as baby gift!

Read it to my grandchildren and they loved it, especially the pictures. My grand daughter, age 6, loved the large picture of Laurel. That was her favorite. She thought it was "incredible". I loved the fact that we have an Orthodox Story that children love so much, especially one that is up to a child's standards in 2020.

I am of the Lutheran Missouri Synod Faith, so this prayer is new to me. I love the simplicity of it, and am also using the 'Prayer Knots.' Thank You for asking.

I am wearing mine daily as I am having some difficulty in wearing my crucifix, I do not like the stiffness of the wire but do like the look of it and appreciate I can look down and a prayer passes through my mind each time. I gave one bracelet to a friend and wish there was an English description accompanying the bracelet.

The book is a beautiful piece of literature, written on the life of a contemporary saint. There is true beauty to be discovered in its pages. I highly recommend it!

I was not sure what i was expecting when i bought this book, but i love that it is so full of scripture, prayerfully pondered. There is much we do not know, but Mother Alexandra brings light to what we can know, and this book was so encouraging to read.

This book has not only provided me (an Orthodox Priest) with a lot to think about in my own spiritual life, but has also provided our parish book club with a text that prompts very deep and thoughtful discussions each and every week. I highly recommend this be read by everyone from new converts to seasoned clergy and everyone in between.

Beautiful images and well-told story. Would have liked a little more of Mary in the later years, but I suppose other books deal with that topic. We read it on the feasts of Mary especially.

By far the best children’s bible reader we’ve read so far. A fairly comprehensive number of Bible stories, including a few Psalms, and well written with an effort to preserve the tone and wording of the actual Bible, while keeping it accessible to younger children. The artwork is tastefully done, respectful of the word of the Lord—no cartoon-like images at all. However, a few pictures are too intense for my three and four year old...one example is Judas hanging from a rope in a tree, his neck bent at a broken angle. All in all, this will be our family Bible for children’s time, until they grow into the full Bible and word of God at a little later age. My children love it.

The bracelet is so lovely. It is an honor to wear it.

It was Christmas and my family and I were enjoying wandering around an indoor display of very fanciful decorated trees. So intrigued with the trees, I was happy to see another room full of them to wander through. I trotted off to look and WHAM! I walked straight into a mirrored wall, putting a bright red circle on the tip of my nose and forehead. Can you spell embarrassed? I quickly glanced over my shoulder to see if anyone saw me. No one did, so I casually walked in the opposite direction, giving my face time to slowly drain from the red flush of embarrassment as I rubbed the sore spot on my forehead.

That is how I felt reading Father Sinari’s short stories in “Big In Heaven.” At first, I laughed at the antics and comments of some of the parishioners at St. Alexander the Whirling Dervish parish. I read further … and flushed with shame. A little further … and felt a twinge of hope. Maybe, just maybe, though I am more like Gus and Mary, with God’s help I’ll end up like Raskova.

I recommend and commend this book to you, dear Reader; but only if you have the courage to have “one eye open to what eye has unseen.”

Big In Heaven by Stephen Siniari is a well written compilation of interesting stories that bring laughter , a smile , sadness and are thought invoking. Thank you for sharing your stories your insight and commitment to others. It' s a 5 star from me.

I love it. The beads are the perfect size and the icon carved on the cross is beautiful.

Unfortunately, as a working woman, this does not work for me. I would encourage the creators to make a smaller version to tuck inside a briefcase, bag, etc. I love the concept, but everyone in our parish did not like the large sizes. Thank you very much!

Very nice collection of prayers

Beautiful

Love the bracelet but cannot wear it as it is very small. Maybe the size was in the description but I did not note it. The design is lovely

As a recent convert I was looking for a comprehensive guide to the Orthodox faith. This book explained a lot and confirmed my decision to join the church was a good one.

Fine quality and I loved the story behind it! I am Serbian, so means that much more. I bought both myself and my daughter one.
