I had no idea there were so many Welsh saints. Great reporing on a subject that could be boring.

I hang it right above my bed.
Its beautiful

I've deeply appreciated this book for exploring a subject not many of us know, and yet is so important to our cultural background. Wales is a part of many of us in America, and so it's doubly significant to hear how our ancestors followed Christ. These stories have been really uplifting and challenging, but in a beautiful way. The way Oswin has composed these stories is particularly well done and makes it easy to read.

This book is a wonderful introduction to the orthodox church. The truth matters and Gillquest shares some of the highlights of his journey searching for meaningful worship and true faith. It leaves one hungry for more.

Shipping was quick. The Bible is beautiful and well made. I read it every day, im very happy with the purchase.

A wonderful, stunning prayer rope. Excellent quality, beautiful icons. My one comment, though absolutely not a complaint, is that it has 60 knots, not 50! I simply took this as a sign from the Lord that I need to pray more.

Beautiful and informative book.

Great cover and easy to use.

Everyday Saints and Other Stories is a beautiful peer into Orthodoxy's rich and genuine Spiritual world. The physical book itself is high quality as well.

Oswin Craton’s Orthodox Saints of Wales is a radiant gem in the world of spiritual literature—an inspiring tapestry of holy lives, Celtic landscapes, and timeless wisdom that uplifts the soul and deepens the heart’s yearning for holiness.

From the very first page, Craton brings to life the rugged beauty and spiritual vibrance of ancient Wales. Each saint’s story—whether it be the humility of St. Illtud, the courage of St. David, or the gentle strength of St. Non—is told with reverence, clarity, and just the right touch of wonder. These are not dry biographies but windows into a sacred world where miracles walk hand-in-hand with human frailty, and sanctity rises from the hills and hearths of Welsh soil.

What makes this book particularly exciting is how it connects the Celtic Christian heritage with the broader Orthodox tradition. Craton’s work is both scholarly and devotional, weaving historical insights with spiritual reflection in a way that makes the saints feel close and relevant to today’s reader. The book doesn’t just inform—it kindles faith.

Whether you’re a history lover, a pilgrim of the spirit, or someone seeking deeper roots in the Christian tradition, Orthodox Saints of Wales is a treasure. It sings with hope, courage, and the quiet power of holiness that can still shape our lives today. Read it, and let your heart be lifted by the cloud of witnesses who once walked the green hills of Cymru with God.

This psalter is exactly what I was looking for. It is larger print; it is divided into days of the week, matins and vespers. A lovely addition to my prayer rule.

Case is the perfect size and the painting is beautiful .it’s so much better in person than the picture thanks for such quality items

This is my first Orthodox Christian book, and wow, it is packed with a wealth of information. You will receive an overview of all religions and sects, accompanied by a summary. This is a Religion Encyclopedia! I highly recommend this book!

When I first received this book, I assumed it would focus solely on the Holy Myrrhbearing Women who went to Christ’s tomb on the morning of His Resurrection. While it certainly covers that, it offers so much more.

The book is divided into three sections. The first explores the *myrrhbearers*—people, mostly women, who were close to Christ during His earthly ministry. Each figure is introduced with a brief backstory, supported by Scripture and quotes from the Church Fathers. I especially appreciated how the questions for reflection helped highlight the unique qualities of each person and made their stories feel personally relevant.

The second section delves into the time surrounding Christ’s death and resurrection, focusing on the roles each myrrhbearer played during this pivotal period.

The final section introduces us to saints whose lives exemplify the spirit of the myrrhbearers—those who lived selflessly in service to others. This was my favorite part of the book. It beautifully demonstrates how small, everyday acts of love and sacrifice can reflect the heart of a myrrhbearer. Each saint’s story is unique, yet they share a common thread: being a myrrhbearer is a daily choice to put our brothers and sisters in Christ before ourselves. And while that might sound simple, there is truly an art to living this way.

I hope you’ll read this book and find it as inspiring as I did.

As someone who often learns by example, I so appreciate a book like this. Fr. Patrick provides many well researched examples of people throughout the Holy Scriptures who didn't quite measure up to the Lord's standards in various different ways. He provides lots of historical context as well to provide better understanding. I have read books similar to this, and they were much less scholarly and more just based on opinion/casual. I especially loved his chapters on Eve, Esau Demas, Rehoboam, Pilate, Ananias and Sapphira, and St. Peter. He repeatedly finds typologies of NT figures in those from the OT and it is easy for readers to see the connection and not have to jump through mental hoops. A quick read that I will recommend others to read! Looking forward to reading some of Fr. Patrick's other books now!

I ordered this icon to be displayed at our church, St. Nicholas, Spokane, WA. We were so delighted to have an icon of one of the few American Saints, and the message it portrays, of bringing the message of salvation to homesteaders, is especially significant (our section of Eastern Washington has existent homesteads). This is an incredible book. A look at addiction and the consequences of a life lived for this twisted world rather than for Christ.

First of all, I am not a Greek Orthodox believer. 2nd, I AM A BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST A MY SAVIOR AND LORD.
3rd, I am old...not a young guy at all.
4th, I have found this little prayer book, HEAR ME, to be very helpful in my prayer life and private devotions. I especially like that the prayers are not just directed at younger folks but everyone. I also like that fact that each prayer is prefaced with scripture, to help focus the mind and heart on the subject of the prayer. I like this prayer book so much that I purchased a number of them for friends and family, and even for my Episcopal Pastor and his wife and son.
I use this prayer book daily, and it has deepened my prayer life, and my focus on the LORD as my ROCK and FOUNDATION. i highly recommend this prayer book to anyone who wants to deepen their prayer life, no matter their faith tradition. I have found that the Greek Orthodox faith tradition is excellent when they are explaining the essentials of living the Christian life. This little HEAR ME prayer book is an example of solid Christian doctrine whether or not you are Greek Orthodox or not.
