I always use toxin-free remedy solutions for my family and that includes my pets. I heard about these necklaces providing protection against ticks and fleas. My dog has scratched some of the amber off and we did have to pull one tick off her so far. I'm hoping it's working. This is the first time we've tried using this as a solution. My suggestions would be to make the necklace more sturdy if possible so animals can't scratch off the amber.
