I though 12.5 inches would be great for my son but it’s to small. It fits him more like a choker. We doubled it and he wears it like a bracelet. I don’t know a lot about jewelry so it would help people like me if you attached approximate ages to the size to show a typical 8 year old would wear this size. Just a suggestion as the size was all my fault I should have measured his neck. Otherwise so far so good he does seem to be calmer. His anxiety seems to have evened out.
