I was skeptical at first that this would work, even though it's beautiful and nicely made. I really like that each bead is knotted on individually, that's a comfort knowing it's less of a choking hazard should it break. It worked for my 7 month old son in about 5-10 minutes, I was amazed! He was having such a hard time, we were alternating Tylenol and teething gel, along with using teethers and frozen washcloths. I'm very glad we gave this a try!
