Strong, flexible, light, and the pop is kind of unbeatable. This is my first bamboo deck and it definitely will not be my last. I don't skate stairs and rails or whatever and I don't go to skate parks at all, so I couldn't tell you how it performs in those areas but if you like to cruise and do some flip tricks or learn them this is a good brand to go with. I've had it for a month and it's been a beast. To reiterate my previous statement, it is very light. You can feel the vibrations under you less than with any other board (probably because it's bamboo). The only worrisome part is that when I first rode it, I got instant stress cracks running along the graphic towards the nose, but since then, nothing else. No razor tail, no chipping, no cracking. It's all good. Buy one.

I absolutely love this board! It is built well, the design is beautiful and I got the wheels for free! I could not be more happy with it. I didn't skateboard before this, but a friend of mine got a bamboo board and I tried it and loved it so I had to have one of my own. The customer service is amazing too! I ordered the wrong wheels and I sent them a message after asking if I could change them and they took care of it right then. Shipping was fast as well! Could not be more pleased.

Have now ordered 2 blank boards along with bearings and hardware and have been completely satisfied with each purchase. The prices (especially for ABEC 9 bearings) were reasonable and my items got to me fairly quickly.

Getting bamboo I was sure was just a gimmick. How much stronger could they be? It turns out quite a bit! I'm 6'3, 220, and skate 2 hours every single day, weather permitting. I typically go through a board once a month. My 2 bamboo boards finally bit the dust in late March, and I got them early August. They still had all their pop, never chipped once, and finally broke when I landed right on the tail. If you get these boards, expect them to crack within days. That's the nature of bamboo, not an indicator of overall strength or quality. The bamboo and maple never chip, just dent instead, it razortails way more slowly, and the spongy nature of the bamboo makes the edges always smooth instead.
That's my experience with the boards. Support from the company; and their overall business model and vision are excellent.
ONE MAJOR COMPLAINT: they advertise free shipping on ALL orders over 75 dollars. I'm guessing that's just for America because I live on Canada and was surprised I had to pay for shipping. Please fix this or at least state that clearly at and before checkout.

They are very lightweight for tricks but vert is very extremely light to use for vert. I like a bit heavy board control on the coping but however over time i am sure Bamboo Skateboards have improved their design and layer shape and more. I recommend getting Bamboos they pop so well. Why else do martial artists uses bamboos as weapons? They can't snap :D

The bamboo is extremely light and has an insane concave! Really durable with unique graphics. I've been skating these for 3years now and I've never looked back to Maple boards once. I highly recommend these boards!!

I've been skating bamboo boards now for around 8 years. They are very strong and perform well. They can only grow and get better if they receive more traction. I'd like to see different board shapes (more symmetrical nose and tail) and more innovation to regular skate deck technology.

Bamboo Sk8 in my personal opinion are the best boards created by man brought from nature's resources. Amped up pop that lasts a longtime. Boards that truly last! Great job keep up the good work!

I was getting back into boarding and wanted a bamboo board, wound up getting the 70% Bamboo shortboard, threw some Theeves trucks on and hit the streets. I never had any cracking/warping, and the amount of air it cought was unreal, loaned it out to my more serious skater friends and they all agreed. I can't skate anymore because of my back, but if I ever can again I know where I'll go.

I really like these boards. I've had three now. They're a little bit softer than full maple which is a bit odd at first but, now that I've skated them for awhile, I like it better. I skated a maple deck a little bit to compare and it felt too hard. Like skate shoes, a new pair, feels weird at first. These decks do have great pop. Floaty Ollies over fun boxes are super fun. The only really disadvantage I see over maple is, because the bamboo is softer, tail slides on surfaces that are a bit rough tend to stick a bit and gouge the deck more. Great for learning tailslided though as they don't slide out on you as easily. You have to push through them a bit. All in all, I think they're great decks. I will be buying some more soon. The 3 for two special is excellent value for money.

These are the only decks my partner uses because we're both environmentalists. The decks are great and they last despite regular use and our extreme lack of humidity in Nevada. I wish they didn't add the new plastic wrapper and all the box candy though; the freebies are unnecessary and the plastic wrap/vinyl stickers won't biodegrade. Kinda contradictory having a greener deck company with minimal packaging but then adding unsustainable junk to the orders.

the international shipping costs are just too much for my fragile little purse.
i definitely want a sleek blank board of yours, though.
maybe someday.
