Large (48") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 50 hens) - hinged panel / allows exterior mount
The setup was easy enough. One downside that we found was the way we wanted to install the nest box wouldn't allow for the popper to also be installed. So that was a bummer. We had to do quite a few modifications to our coop to allow for the nest box install and the popper install. Also we can only get about 5 or 6 hens out of our flock of 60+ to lay in there. We have tried everything and still they don't want to go in. We are hopefully going to start over our flock in the spring and try again...but its a little frustrating that they don't seem to want to go in there despite following the guidelines given. Last, we had to put a cover underneath the bottom of our rollaway because we had hens that would jump up and peck the eggs from the bottom.

Great Nest Box - easy to assemble and well made. The Domineckers use it and Easter Eggers will use it from time to time.

Perhaps all my hens lay at the same time. Thus, I always have hens waiting to lay. I'd say it's good for around 14 hens. I wish I had bought the three bay nest box. The good is that it keeps the eggs clean and has almost eliminated the egg eating and broken eggs. Personally, I wish the metal it is made from was a little stouter. No problems yet. I've had it about 6 months.

This is a well made, sturdy nest box. My husband said it was a bit of a challenge to put together. Our pullets haven’t started laying yet, but the nest box is ready when they are.

I love that the eggs roll out of the nesting boxes, where they wait securely until I can gather them. Finally, clean eggs!

This is my second one for a different pen of chickens. It makes gathering eggs a breeze and almost no mess at all. The hens love it!

Well, FYI, it seemed like it was shipped from you at a Dollar Store or something, it was only going a couple states away to Wisconsin but it took like 10 days to get here via FedEx. It managed to make it to Oregon on its trip.
Federal Express is going backwards it seems.
Federal Express ….when it absolutely positively doesn’t matter when it gets there. 😂😂😂😂

I have had it for a few months. I removed it yesterday and gave them back their old plastic nesting boxes. They were laying everywhere else. I liked it the chickens were not impressed.

We the people love this nesting box. The concept is amazing. It’s beautiful. It’s well built. However the chickens will not use it. We’ve tried all the suggestions, now they just lay their eggs on the floor with a beautiful nesting box hovering over them.

I ordered 2 of the 36” Medium Extended nesting boxes. Packaging was excellent, and assembly was easy, especially if using a drill with clutch set to low as to tighten the nuts. Metal was deburred (no sharp edges) and all holes lined up perfectly. Communication was excellent prior to purchase. It is everything I expect from a American manufacturer!

I bought this to replace my generic 6-box roll out. My chickens didn't like the hard bottom and nesting pads blocked the roll out area. My future plans require a rear roll out box so I got this one. The chickens like the soft nesting mat and took to it right away. Nothing but clean eggs since. I highly recommend this nesting box. I got the 48" version and have 16, soon to be 20, layers.

Been trying out different variants of homemade nesting boxes, finally bit the bullet and ordered a best nest box, and after a couple weeks of training our girls with the flaps up with magnets, we love it!!! The stripes on the eggs aren’t a huge deal, much better than poo haha, definitely recommend!

It works well but pricey. When I asked prior to purchasing if I could get a discount for ordering two after purchasing two nesting boxes, I received no response. I ordered anyway because I needed them.
