Large (48") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 50 hens)
Very happy with the nesting box. Getting them to use it was easy. I had to get rid of or close off every alternative spot they found, which took 3 or 4 days, and then every egg went in the box. It's great not having to wash eggs!

Medium (24") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 20 hens)
Great product, my only complaint is, we ordered the medium size box because it said it would be enough for 20 hens, we have 13 so we assumed this be an adequate size. It was not, because there were more than 2 chickens wanting to lay eggs at a time and so then we had eggs on the floor. We ordered a second one and this has worked, had we ordered a bigger one in would have been so much cheaper than order two and we now have to collect them inside because our coop was already built and cutting a hole through our siding insulation and plywood while the birds are living there is more than a days work and hard to keep birds in with a big hole.

We have now purchased three different brands and tried them. This brand is by far the best. Eggs are much cleaner and less breakage. We also feel that it was easy to put together. We will continue to buy more as our farm grows.

At first we weren’t sure if this would work. We have been using traditional nest boxes for 15 years, but I got tied of watching my husband sort and wash eggs for over an hour every time we packaged them up. We have 50 hens and sell to wholesale accounts and farmers markets and need this process to be efficient. After a couple of days the ladies figured out the new boxes and the eggs are mostly clean. There are sometimes some marks from the grate, but nothing big and sometimes we will get 1 or 2 eggs with poop out of 35 eggs total. Way better than before!

I had some minor issues with international shipping and staff were very helpful, easy to contact and situation was resolved. The quality of the box is great and easy assembly (good instructions). I will be recommending as I have been looking for a box that can be cleaned.

These laying boxes solved the broken egg’s issues and chicken’s wanting to eat eggs. Plus the ease of collecting eggs is the best.
I do recommend some sort of padding where the eggs roll to. We just cut foam pipe insulation on half and rolled that along the edge. Issue solved with very little cost.

The installation guide was good enough to complete the build within 30 minutes. I created the opening in the coop to receive the unit. I installed screws from the inside and into the supporting studs. The hens adapted to it IMMEDIATELY. The eggs began to roll and they haven't stopped coming. Clean eggs! I do not raise the roosting bar at night and the hens do not roost in the box at night. My prayers have been answered.. THANKS TO BEST NEST BOX...

I like the design and functionality of the nest box. No more dirty or broken eggs.
I had 40 hens and they were used to open face cartons for nest. So, I had to train them and let them know this was now their nest box. They didn’t want to go in the box.
I opened the center curtain, didn’t help. I removed the curtain, still nothing. I put a couple hens inside the box, still no luck. Finally, I put wood shavings inside and they started using them. To my surprise, the eggs still managed to roll into the tray. I didn’t replace the wood shavings as they slowly disappeared.
The hens are now using the nest box and I don’t have to wash the eggs.

Have a large nest box and got tired of going out every morning to open up the laying area. Bought the Perch Popper, installed it (all of 10 minutes), programmed it and away we went. This thing is awesome, works like a charm, and saves me a daily early morning trip to the coop. Highly recommend.

Assembly was pretty straightforward. I did most of it myself, but did need an extra set of hands to get the bolts+nuts in place for securing the lid for the roll-away cover. Mind the instructions about placing the overlapping panels inside or outside, and bolt locations if you don't want to go back and do the work again! Within two days of me adding it to the coop, all 9 of my hens are using it to lay their eggs. No more nasty, muddy eggs, and no more chickens eating their eggs. I'm a big fan.

My general experience with the company was great, and the quality of the product is great. My chickens did not want to use it for several weeks. Only one was laying in it. Then I read the FAQ and pinned the curtains back with magnets. That led to the rooster going in. Finally, after about a month, there were 5 eggs in there yesterday. I hoped it would just take time for them to get used to it.
