Medium Extended (36") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 32 hens)
Very pleased with fit and finish. Wish everyone would take as much pride in the things that they manufacture as it seems you all have. My birds have yet to lay an egg in it, however I’m confident that it will work when they do start laying.

This is a tough review because nest box would get four stars and that is only because there’s a piece of angle that runs in the egg channel that the eggs get caught on so my hens can still eat them when that happens, I can just reach in and bend it upwards to open the channel up so not the end of the world, our problem is with the Perch Popper it’s been in a month and worked great for 2 weeks and now has a mind of its own and works approximately 3 to 4 days a week so when it doesn’t work, we’re picking our eggs off the floor or the hens are eating them. I have not reached out to let them know our experience, but thought it was right to let customers know what problems they could face, it’s a pretty expensive item to be having problems this soon. So the Popper would get 2 Stars . We are thinking about getting the automatic door opener but we’re not sure after this problem with the electronics.

Hello Thomas,
We have called once to discuss the issues you are having. Feel free to call 330-558-1120.
Part B is not installed correctly on the nesting box. If the Popper is not working everyday consistently, that means that the hinge bolts need to be loosened or there is another mechanical issue. Feel free to reach out so we can help you resolve these issues you are having.

The product itself is extremely well made. However my hens refuse to use it. Have even tried putting a bit of chopped straw in it to make it feel a little more familiar. Not interested at all.

The Original PerchPopper - Auto nest box opener-Ready to ship
NOT AT ALL RELIABLE. SELLER IS HARD TO WORK WITH. UNIT DID NOT FIT MY METAL THREE NEST BOX. SELLER DIDN'T CARE. VERY DISAPPOINTING WITH NO SOLUTION. MONEY WASTED. THEY ARGUE AFTER THE FACT THE UNIT ONLY FITS A CERTAIN BRAND NEST BOX AND WILL ONLY CONSIDER A RETURNED UNIT IN '' MINT'' CONDITION. I DOUBT THIS SELLER HAS EVER ISSUED A REFUND. ALSO, THE UNIT I PURCHASED WILL NOT HOLD THE HOUR RELEASE PROGRAMMING WHICH MAKES IT TOTALLY WORTHLESS. THEY SHOULD NOT IN BUSINESS. I SUSPECT THIS IS WHY THEY DON'T SELL ON AMAZON. MY UNIT IS HEADED FOR THE TRASH AND I LOSE MY $160 PAYMENT. REALLY A SCAM SELLER.

Our web site indicates in several places that the PerchPopper and it's related parts (mounting bracket, spring assemblies, etc) are designed to work specifically with the Best Nest Box. We do have customers that have installed the PerchPopper with other brands of nest boxes or "homemade" nest boxes successfully. Obviously this is not a configuration that we can guarantee or support.
The PerchPopper will always hold the hour release programming. There is an issue with the way you have set up your mechanics.

Small (17") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 10 hens)
In an effort to make caring for my birds and collecting eggs easier I knew I wanted a roll out box.... Best Nest Box fits that need perfectly.. It's a well made and well designed product. Shipped in a well packed flat box and only takes about 30 minutes to assemble. Made in the USA and built to last for many years with no maintenance other than cleaning the mat when dirty. This is a quality product that is well designed.

My chickens took to this new nesting box within 24 hours. I love how the eggs are kept away from them. I no longer have dirty eggs or cracked eggs. Definitely worth it.

Chicken Poultry Nest Pad - Large
The mat does not hold up. I've had it in the box one week and already they have scratched a hole in the mat. disappointed....

In our experience the nest pads are very durable and will last a long time. In many cases in the past, a customer who has a hole or holes in their nest pad has a rodent problem.

I love this for the aspect of clean eggs. It took over a month for the hens to get used to it and I still have a couple hens who just plop it out on the floor as opposed to using the box. It is worth the wait though so patience is key if you are switching from other nesting boxes to this one. I also taped back the red flaps because no one would go in. Once I did that, a few of the girls started going in and then others followed suit over time. It is great having clean eggs!

Unfortunately this wasn't money well spent to solve our chickens who were eating their own eggs. Not only won't the hens walk on the hard plastic mats, but they won't lay in them, no individual next boxes for privacy which I guess they like, but if you don't put the entire thing in shade, it heats up so hot you cant touch or you will burn your fingers. This seems not to be for backyard owners but for industrial farms.

Many customers use their nest successfully in sunny conditions. This will not inhibit your hens from using their nest box. The wire floor in the egg collection tray allows air flow in the egg tray and up into the nesting area.

ChickenGuard Extreme Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener & Self Locking Door Kit with 3 Year Warranty
This door does not open or close consistently and the string makes it impossible to use on a mobile coop. Any deviation from the sides and it won't work. I got mine to fully close and open a handful of times before the device stopped working. Save your money and use a Run Chicken brand door.

The ChickenGuard is used on many mobile coops and it will work well in a mobile setup. We would recommend reinstalling the door on solid framing.
ChickenGuard has an excellent customer service and support team. If the issue you are experiencing is not an issue with the installation of the door, they will be able to troubleshoot the issue. It might simply be that a setting needs to be changed. ChickenGuard will direct you as to what needs to be done. They are ready to assist you until your unit is working properly.
If a replacement part is required, this will be supplied by ChickenGuard free of charge. Every ChickenGuard door has a three year warranty.

Initial thoughts are we couldn’t be happier. Girls have already transitioned into it, took a little swaying at first. All that’s left is to see if it stands the test of time???? We shall see.

We really love our best next box; as a matter of fact this one is our second one. We built our hens a summer home :) otherwise known as a mobile coop for moving on fresh grass in the summer months. The roll away feature has really improved egg cleanliness and quality. No cracks or holes in the eggs! Thank you best nest!

Arrived on time and seems to be really good quality. Only complaint was that 2 pieces were bent and I had to straighten them myself.
