ChickenGuard Extreme Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener & Self Locking Door Kit with 3 Year Warranty
I love it!! When I first installed it, I didn't realize I had the side rails lower than the bottom of door frame so I couldn't get the door to calibrate correctly. But once I figured that out and stopped the rails right at bottom of door frame it works perfectly. It opens itself in the morning and closes and locks itself at night. I'm very happy with my purchase!!

Quality made. Easy to assemble. Great idea. But some reason my chickens will have nothing to do with it. I removed the old nest boxes and added this beauty, so they started laying eggs on the floor. Maybe i should have bought new chickens instead of better nesting. My future flock will appreciate mine and your effort. Hopefully

Occasionally, someone has an issue with getting their hens to use the nest box initially. This is just the nature of hens and EVERY nest box on the market will also have this issue with some setups or flocks. However, this problem has ALWAYS been fixable in our experience- just reach out to us for help.

Fast delivery, easy to put together but it does take some time. Only a couple of chickens have shown an interest and are actually laying eggs in it. Built it where the eggs roll to the back. Bought the nestbox to increase the space for laying. Had I noticed it while I was building the coop, I would have adopted it to the coup. Thinking about incorporating it into a separate coup. I would highly recommend the nest box. Easy to clean.

Rolls out well, keeps the hens from pecking the eggs! Assembles well and the metal edges were rolled so no Baindaids needed! Love it!

This functions exactly as described! Didn't take the experienced hens long to train up the young ones on where to put their eggs... IN this lovely nestbox! Well done!

ChickenGuard Extreme Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener & Self Locking Door Kit with 3 Year Warranty
I have bought 2 of these over the last 2.5 years. First was from Chewy and the inside wires "fell" off and you cannot reattach. So I purchased a replacement from here. This one has an error at least 3 times a week where it does not open and needs to be recalibrated. Frustrating.
Contacted chicken guard regarding issue. They are friendly. However, since this website doesn't have accounts I cannot prove when I purchased. I did send a message to see if I could obtain a copy a few days ago. I haven't heard anything.
However, after purchasing 2 Chicken Guard Extremes in 2.5 years and both failing. I would not recommend the product. Definitely choose a more reliable automatic chicken door.

Arrived on time. Instructions were pretty clear. My only issue only half of my chickens are laying in the new nesting boxes. The other chickens are laying on the coop floor. Hoping, that more will decide to lay in the boxes in time.
