Well built. Easy to assemble. To small for my flock. I should've ordered the bigger one.

Quick delivery and well packaged. Simple assembly — well constructed. The hens adjusted within 3 days and we are pleased to do a lot less egg washing! Highly recommend this box — Well worth the investment!

Chicken Poultry Nest Pad - Large
Should have ordered extra when I ordered the boxes. Makes easier to keep them clean when you can just swap them out.

So far so good! All but one hen took to it immediately. The one hen I call “the Easter Bunny” anyway...
Really appreciate not having to clean the eggs anymore!

We’re pleased with the quality of this box. We did have an issue with the eggs not always rolling down, rather getting stopped by the heavy knap of the plastic pad. We’ve had better results by putting the pad in upside down. That way the eggs definitely roll, however the pad has a tendency to slip down and that can cause the eggs to get caught at the bottom. May think of a flatter AstroTurf pad. Easy to assemble and mount, and hens took to it right away

Hello Robert, It sounds like your nest box might not be mounted in a level and plum position. I would check that first. After the box is level and plum, if you still have eggs that are not rolling you can shim the nest box to create a steeper slope, but if you make it too steep your eggs will crack. After you have leveled and or shimmed the nest box, you can use the nest pad in the proper way.

Took a little while to get the assembly right, but after the third one, the rest were a breeze to put together.

It took a while for them to get used to it. We had to put shavings and block off the back and tape up the "curtain". But now they are all pretty much laying in there ! And the eggs roll down and are nice and clean! Great box!

super easy out of the box, super easy to install. All six of my hens started using it within two days. Such a great nest box. I would never use anything different now.

Chicken Poultry Nest Pad - Large
Good, flexible material....but wish it were sturdier, meaning, less prone to tearing!

Hello Hans, AstroTurf recommends the nest pads to be soaked. Rolling the material and placing it in a 5 gallon bucket is a good way to accomplish that. Read more about the care on the nest pad product page. https://bestnestbox.com/collections/all/products/extra-nest-pad-4-pad-for-large-box?variant=21878598664281
