Large (48") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 50 hens)
Pretty easy to assemble. Awesome concept. I love it. The mat inside is very hard. Initially my hens didn’t like it and I swapped it out for a softer grassy mat. Now they’re mostly warming up to it however I still have few that are hesitant.

I love my new Best Nest Box! Within days my chickens started laying eggs in their new nest box, and now the eggs are so clean. It has also helped to stop my chickens from egg eating. I have already recommended the Best Nest Box to all my friends with chickens.

Instructions could be a little clearer. How about an online video to watch boxes being built?
Also wish you would keep the screws and nuts separated when you ship them as opposed to just dumping everything in one bag. You probably have them separated already, just have to keep them in their appropriate bag. Then dump all the individual bags in the larger bag you are currently using. Have not installed in the coop yet, but at least it's put together!

This has been awesome! Our chickens were eating all the eggs. It took then a few days to start using it. Now we have lots of clean eggs every day! It was definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Thank you for developing the Best Nest Box. My chickens started using it the first day I installed it. Eggs are clean and they don’t get to eat their own eggs anymore. On occasion I have found a random egg on the floor, but I had that happen before too. I look forward to this box lasting for many many years.

It's not quite as natural, and the wire mesh allows too much draft. So, probably not the "best" nest box.

My girls won’t use it. I’ve got over 40 hens not 1 of them go in it. Tried closing up old nesting boxes. They laid their eggs everywhere except the box.

Hello Gloria,
This is a normal reaction from a chicken. Sometimes the whole flock cooperates very well and lays in their new nest box. Sometime the hens need a little bit of help and sometimes they need alot of help.
Please feel free to call to discuss your situation. We would be glad to help. 330-558-1120

My chickens went from a wood box to this. They ate laying everywhere now instead of this box. I am now blocking those areas they lay to try and train them to go in the box. Frustrating.

I love this nesting box. Best money spent on my chickens. No more dirty eggs & most of all no more cracked or eaten eggs. I had to retro fit the box & remove the egg collection door so that I could still collect eggs from outside the coop & it works great. I recommend this nesting box to all my fellow chicken keepers!

We love the general idea of how nest boxes should work, however, we still have hens that would prefer to nest on the ground. They want to "tuck" an egg underneath them while they are laying. I would recommend that the nest boxes be enlarged. We have New Hampshire Reds, Golden Comets and Americana chickens and the New Hampshire Reds have a tight squeeze to get in.

It does what it says on the tin. It took few days for the hens to get used to it but they eventually got the hang of it. I am satisfied by this product. There was a dent on one of the side sheets though and I have read a few reviews from other customers who had the same concerns.

Hello Maaz,
Please call or email to report damage. Damage occasionally occurs as the box travels through UPS.

I have not put this nest box in use yet as my chicks won't be laying for several months. However, I can testify that putting this unit together was very easy. You folks did an excellent job of seeing that all bolt holes were perfectly aligned. Also, the bolts themselves were top quality. I am very happy with the quality and compactness of your product. Now all I have to do is get the chickens opinions once they begin to lay eggs. I sure do like the concept behind the nest box though.
