I bought this for my son's 6th birthday. It was shipped quick and arrived as expected. Overall it seems like a good quality set. But the colors on the instructions are hard to tell (instructions look like it calls for gray blocks but actually use black blocks). The set appears to be missing pieces. Re small rowboat wasn't in the box and my boy can't go past step 3 because there are no 1x12 tall black blocks in the set (should have at least 3). He is disappointed that he can't put his present together. Right now I wouldn't purchase from Brick Forces again.

While the price was great and the product seems to be really nice, the instructions are absolutely horrible. I bought this as a toy for my 7 year old son. He loves to build Legos, and those instructions are easy for him to follow but the instructions we got with Brick Forces were not only hard to follow with the poor color of pieces, lack of descriptions for pieces required but they also lack the verbal description to hep guide you. I was forced to build it for my son and Im still not finished. I have had to take it apart 3 times to correct things I missed. I won’t be buying another set until I read they have redone thier instructions. With that said, while I’m not completely finished building it, I think my son will enjoy it, which is why I gave it 3 stars.... including cost.

Ordered the A-10. Nice set, a little on the hokey side with all of the added weapons on the wings and next to the cockpit, but I imagine that had to do with licensing issues with the planes manufacturer and likenesses and all that so its understandable. A few of the pieces seemed warped and or slightly melted so it makes it a bit cheesier looking. The directions were set up similar to an actual Lego set, but were not as discriptive and somewhat difficult to discern as far as what pieces went where. Spebt a lot of time combing the pictures to find all the pieces added from previous pictures as well as counting the nodes in the picture and,on the model to make sure I had them placed correctly. Still not sure it is all placed correctly but it looks close enough. Overall I like it, just a few hiccups that could be easily fixed.
