2021 Construction Contractors: Audit and Accounting Guide
As an industry guide it should have addressed review reports and review procedures also.
I think Construction contractors didn’t need as
much updating as other industries with regard to
revenue recognition. I think the nomenclature for
under and overbillings didn’t need to change. All in all, C plus.

Webcast Pass
The only problem that I have had with Webpass is getting to the web page. One first has to get to my purchases, courses, etc. It is just elongated.

AICPA CPExpress - State Societies
I was not able to find a list of courses available with CPExpress before subscribing, and assumed that all courses listed on aicpa website will be included in it in some, perhaps abridged less interactive, format (e.g. digital assets). None of them are. The list of courses should be visible prior to the purchase; otherwise, it’s very misleading.

AICPA & CIMA Employee Benefit Plans Conference
I am a big fan of the AICPA Conference and have been attending every year for two decades. I love the general sessions, but the break-out sessions are where much of the learning comes from. My suggestions for improvement are twofold: (1) I noticed a trend in this conf for presenters to be more theoretical. PP slides are predominantly wordy and less examples. More examples are better and help practitioners visualize/apply the theory behind the material. (2) I still believe the conf is doing a disservice by not offering a soup to nuts audit class for firms/staff entering into this arena. The Beginners Audit Workshop was super theory, but not enough hands-on. I believe more hands-on is needed. Essentially someone walking through the planning/risk assessment, the trust reporting and workpaper reconciliations, plan level and participant level testing, and ultimately, the audited financial statements for a typical 103(a)(3)(c) audit. This would be super welcomed and I believe super beneficial.

AICPA & CIMA Employee Benefit Plans Conference
Technical difficulties with first course on Select 8, which was disappointing to miss the new standard first session. Was not able to attend the second replay of the session. I was still able to get all my CPE by hopping onto another presentation that was occurring at the same time. It would have been nice for select 8 purchasers to be offered an additional course due to the issues. Otherwise, material was beneficial and informational.

AICPA & CIMA Employee Benefit Plans Conference
Great conference. I would suggest that you only have classes from 9-5 as it is a lot to do 8-6. Even if it means that you need to extend the days it would be better to do a shorter day since there is a lot of information.
