Great content, but rating this lower because of the user interface, poorly timed updates when certain modules are not available (approaching the 12/31 CPE deadline), and in prior years the content has not been available at all in the last week of the year (too much traffic, perhaps). I recommend this product for use throughout the year, but it's not great for catching up on last minute credits when there is a time crunch.

I think the whole program has gotten more into checklists rather than really looking at the accomplishments and results of engagements reviewed. For young staff it is becoming more difficult for them to understand the objectives of procedures and tend to follow the rules rather than look at the results. Rules based is becoming more difficult to comprehend as indicated by the number of amendments and changes that are made almost daily because they are not thoroughly thought out when first published.

The information covered was extensive and helpful. This course was comparable to the other PFP certificate programs in its format and specificity. My issue, however, is with the exam. There were many questions on the exam that required knowledge that was NOT in the study materials. If this course represents your first step into the estate planning world, be prepared to do additional research beyond the scope of the study material.
