The "Town Hall Series" webcasts are consistently informative and helpful.
The webinar technology, however, is not consistent. Sometimes the slides display, other times they do not. The performance is different between Windows computers and Android devices.
Sometimes all of the attendance checks pop up on schedule. Other times only one or two attendance checks appear over the course of the hour. Frankly, it's a waste of time to attend an hour long webinar and not receive CPE credit . . . no matter how well the webinar content is presented.
Faulty webinar technology is a major consideration that causes me not to buy the AICPA Webcast Pass.
When AICPA cares enough to fix their webinar software their CPE programs will be worth considering.
